if u have source sdk, which u can load half life maps and make portal maps , u can open a hl map , and save it as a portal map, which basicly converts it, i think this is what this guys done

Seems pretty janky. There are plenty of buildings in HL where there really isn't any "top"...I imagine that the portal usage would be pretty limited. But still awesome.

You just have to put the hl2 maps in portal! THATS IT! I read it in my How to Guide book a long time ago. It's very simple. You noticed he can't use weapons? That's becuase he is actualy playing portal

Easy he extracted his HL2 maps to portal then went to console and typed the console command to goto it

ex. 'map d3_c17_canals'

i heard you could pretty much ctrl-C the files and make the portal gun spawn like a normal gun with console

but garry is good too, anything to do w/ hl is god-like(gamingly, not real life)

Look at my vids i say where to get it, it is on the primotech website. And to clarify it is hl2 maps in portal not the gun in hl2. I have gotten  hl2 deathmatch games in portal only i if i could get the portal gun in hl2 deathmatch.

ive seen this you have to use gcfscape and get all of the hl2 map files and scenes and things like that and put it in the portal folders then chose the trainstation_01 map in the console and HEY you have hl2 with portal :P

I think there is a folder in The ORange Box in Half life called weapons and you can copy and paste portaldevice.all into the weapons folder
