@wolf9013 The blackout is a different color. That's it. you can get 44's or 50's in silver, white gold, or black. The trucks will handle the same, as long as they are the same angle.
@TheOldSchoolSkate Bummer—those dudes over at Caliber are cool dudes. Let them know about your issues and I'm sure they'll do their best to get you sorted. Word!
@wheelbasemag I was going to but i figured out that if you flip the hangar it becomes unbent aha now my wheels aren't coning like crazy and if they bend again ill keep flipping aha :)
Come on guys :( you're shattering my faith in you and then kicking the shit out of it on the ground...
At least the skating was rad! And you mentioned the faced hangars which nobody ever does and they're easily the best part of the trucks so props for that I guess!
The trucks don't have any rake. It's an attribute of the truck. "They" don't call it that, that's just what it is. It isn't some fucking patented line from caliber.
Flipping your trucks also doesn't change the degree. Obviously not for caliber, but not for randal or something either. When you flip your hangar the pivot angle stays the same, it just means the axle is now below the pivot axis instead of on top of it.
@MrVKCA youre wrong. randals do cahnge degree when flipped, they have a 2* rake. so unflipped, the pivot angle sits at 52*, but when flipped, it changes to a 48*. that was pretty emberassing of a comment.
Go to the: "Wait! Someone said flip my hanger?" section (about two thirds way down the page").
Take note of this sentence:
"[flipping the hangar] DOES NOT CHANGE THE PIVOT-AXIS ANGLE. It does not directly reduce the board’s leverage over the bushings, but it does change the hanger’s resistance to lean..."
Your arrogance is astounding, made entirely better by your sure hearted condemnation.
How do the 50 degree cals compare to some randals(I think 50 degree)? These look like amazing trucks but I want to freeride mostly on them and do some downhill. Please reply. Btw great review
@chrischewning25 Yo homie, a 50 degree truck is gonna be similar to other 50 degree trucks as far as general feel as they are the same degree. Bushings, pivots, and quality & strength are what you'll want to look at in order to hone in on your specific needs. Get some!
I ve bustin maestro 7 ply with orangatan yellow durian 75 mm. Was thinking of putting 50caliber , 10". I want to use it mainly for in city commuting on flat rough roads, carving and sliding. Will there b a chance of wheel bite on my setup ?
I want a good freeride and a littlebit downhill setup should i use caliber 44 och 50? and also is the comet voodoo d2 or voodoo doll good for freeriding? Great video by the way :D
Hey what do you think of this setup for freeride and a little downhill... Comet grease hammer...Caliber fourty fours...bones super reds and metro motions 80a...
@pryoman43 i would check out the caliber 50s if you are more into free riding, they are sick trucks, i had a chance to try them as well and they might be more what you are looking for. just depends on your riding preference really. - justin
@Xx1DOWNHILL1xX we think it's that one hill right next to the one those dudes used to call by that name we can't remember right off the top of our heads, but we're not sure it's even that hill or another one that looks just like it. It's probably better we are forgetting. Low-key is always good, right? Ha ha!

What do you mean at 1:20 "what they call no rake"
