  • This smells like propaganda. American documentaries from right wing think tanks have the same feel as this documentary.

  • Boy the damage you have done to the real needy is unreal! this is a imperfect world, however i was born in Canada in the Maritimes, there is no famine there right? my father was born with what is called a pigeon chest malformed by malnutrition, just because you cannot see someones suffering doesn't mean it doesn't exist!

  • it saddened me everytime hearing this kind of news. sigh!

  • now according to the media, the whole world is suffering from a global famine and the only solution, according to the experts interviewed on the media, is an international organization monitoring and governing all trades to keep speculators from driving up food prices watch?v=jaVgyEuLA84

  • Sucks when ever I want to find something on you tube , Like the glorious Metal band which is named the Famine and I got this in the results. I am pretty disappointed people and you tube please fix your fucking search engine on here because this bullshit . Even Wikipedia has a better search enjoy then you guys do and that is pretty sad. And sorry to the people in Niger,But I believe us Americans should help out the needy in our own country first before we worry about your whole damn country.

  • Norwegian scammers?

  • TV2 is owned by Bonnier. They did show the Great Global Warming Swindle from all their channels in the Nordic countries. Bonnier publications lean to the right, and own many tabloids that put out such shit that I would question this documentary. Go to North Korea... they'll tell you also that everything is fine, as do the Yemeni ministers. Niger is not doing great in any sense, and there was a need for food if you check from many sources even the minister agrees to that.

  • I'm not sure about the idea that you should use a word to describe something based on what word "they" use. I don t think language is that pliable.

  • So then, what do you think is the best description of 'famine'?

  • Interesting how it's like their default position to distrust the prime minister. He's an African leader, of course he's bogus. Right? Right?

Of course, he got free food out of it, so I can't imagine he's too sad about it.

  • And consider how VIPs were casting this famine as a *huge* disaster!

    Jan Egeland:

"Immediate aid is needed to keep 2.5 million people alive."

    Jean Ziegler:

"The most vulnerable people groups are about to be liquidated."

    Bernard Kouchner:

"30,000 children are dying each day of hunger or curable diseases."

    Incredible.

  • 30,000 kids a day are dying. There was a famine in Niger, human beings, little kids, starved to death. What must it be like to starve to death?

  • @comoradh

    Who knows

    They sure dont

    They weren't starving.
