It is obvious we do not have electric cars on fuel cells because the lack of Americans who know calculus, OHMs law and have items which they spent time and their own $ putting together in the corner of their room. Go ahead run your egos here is a tissue!
Wow, its emissions free... kindof like a LiPo... a LiPo that would be lighter and greatly outperform that fuel-cell "battery". Its cool from a proof of concept, but I am dismayed by the fact that politicians and the media completely disregard that lithium and NIMH batteries are a RIGHT NOW viable and environmentally friendly technology with far greater efficiency than any hydrogen model proposed to date.
It sounds like a ducted fan...not a jet. And since a jet relies on combustion, it would be difficult to make a hydrogen jet unless you were using the hydrogen as the combustible!
I'm all for jacking gas prices up as high as possible....
Only then will people start looking for alternatives to transportation. Hopefully, they choose a cleaner source so we can cut down on the nasty pollution that's giving us all cancer. But wait, the health industry is making too much money off cancer treatment, so now they are poisoning are food, water, and air with carcinogens... NEAT0!
Gasoline? Hydrogen only comes from gasoline when your STUPID and OWN TOO MUCH STOCK IN GAS, otherwise, you can get it from tap water if your not a moron enough to listen to bush's bullshit, bush should be jailed!
Why don't you start your own company making hydrogen from a renewable source? America is a free market. Bush doesn't control it. The point is people don't do it because it costs a fortune. Your company would fold. Until you stop driving a car and using oil products, shut your mouth.
With the crude prices over 100$ now, making hydrogen with electrolysis is not so stubit any more. And in places like Iceland (where I'm from) that have more renewable energy than we have use for and where the only none renewable energy consumed is for transportation, hydrogen cars, boats and airplanes would make our energy consumption 100% renewable rather than 70% renewable now.
Unfortunately not, but there is a huge demand for engineers and I happen to be a recruitment consultant specializing in recruitments of specialists from abroad, including engineers ;-)
I think this concept design is pretty cool. The only problem is finding a cheap and easy way to create hydrogen fuel without using fossil fuels. When some1 figures that out, hydrogen fuel will be everywhere
Done! There is a certian kind of algae that only needs sun light and it produces all the hydogen gas you can ask for. The gas then gets converted into more useful forms soon after. What we need now is a government smart enough to get off their asses and make it happen. The terrorist shouldn't get any more oil money to kill us with. You can find the algae thing here on youtube!
It's a bit hard to believe that it's "Wasserstoff" propeled, besides, I have seen a video and read some information on the designer of this aircraft, who's from switzerland, and calls his project Smartfish, and from what I understand is pretty independent and has not collaborated with anyone about anything
hydrogen you say? does the electricity produced by one of those fuel cells have enough left over after powering the wheels/propeller to split water by electrolysis?
Enjoy that sound, ...when you next hear it, it will be above your house targeting for the Urban International Police Force.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it is, since fuel cells produce electricity.

not sure I believe you. It has to be a small fuel cell that can put out a lot of power as that short wing plane needs at least 200 watts to fly.
So give us some numbers

hydrogen? you mean it splits H2O into it's component parts and then uses them as in an internal combustion engine or jet engine?
