@iStreetKid Flaming weapons you can only get in beta, if you have the veteran gears achievement you get all gold guns excluding the pistol on release day. If you;re not a veteran gear you can get gold gnasher by playing in first week and golden SO by beating gears 1 on the hardest difficulty. Other than that you can buy the gears 3 controller or epic edition for the final weapon camo pack and have all the camos.

@LJK36O No, like i said, Epic changed it. It is now the Gold Lancer and Hammerburst for week 1, and the gold gnasher is exclusive for Veteran Gears. People raged on the forum that there was no real exclusive for VG, so EPIC had to change it.

This all happened in like mid-august.

The retro lancer's a decent weapon for close combat, a decent weapon and it offers a good defense against the popular method of just running up to some one with the shotgun. It's a good weapon and you're just going to have to get used to it, or avoiding the gunfire that comes from it. Swearing won't change a thing.
