Those before the time of Christ sacrificed certain animals to offer a sin sacrifice which was representative of what was to come in Jesus offering Himself a living sacrifice. Since you're so obsessed with facts, maybe you should break it down for everyone. List the scholars who lived during the time of JC who write about him. When is the first time his story is mentioned in a non-biblical text? Documentation of the Roman texts which "report his death" would help as well. Then we can evaluate these facts. If he was such an influential teacher and performed miracles, we should expect to see an extensive record of him around the time of his life and shortly after.

Oprah is not denying Jesus. If Jesus is the true Messiah than so be it but if there is a tribe in South America that has never heard the name Jesus or told that they must believe in a bearded white guy to go to heaven, their spirituality is the same as someone who goes to church every week. Its what's in the soul thats important and not jumping through hoops like a trained seal.
