Yes Holden is part of GM and has been since 1931, but its still OUR car and remained independent from the rest of the company for a long time, and far exceeds anything the yanks make. Id prefer my rear wheel drive large sized big engined machine than any front wheel drive horribly built and engineered pathetic immitation of far superior japanese vehicles.

Holden was one of a few subsidaries making a profit when GM filed for bankrupcy and is the centre of rear wheel chassis development.
