With a lot of practice and imitation, Chinese people can make a lot. Nevertheless, it`s a totally cold and sterile version which is only functional,not emotanlly moving. People like him will never attain the emotional depth and cultural situatedness of music like this.

This song is for the organ - anyone can make it sound brilliant on that instrument. Even me and I don´t even own a keyboard. Doing it on the guitar is a lot harder and totally unexpected, I've been playing the guitar over 20 years and I cant come close to this. The harmonics in the last minute are particularly inpired.

I've wondered the same thing. Even if he doesn't remember every song, in all detail, I'd bet that he could take any of the older ones (The Carpenters, Simon & Garfunkel, 'Moon River' from Broadway, The Beatles, etc.), and brush up on it in less than an hour, and play it as well or better than his original video. It would all come back to him.
