@e1853b z06 is the faster car than a gtr.Gtr is easier to drive but z06 is faster .low 11s at 127 mph vs 11.7 at 120

Are U kidding? Both the GTR and Z06 run within a tenth of each other, neighboring in the high 11's. Z06's can be had almost $30K cheaper too...

Yea, but dude, with 90k, you could get a Z06, which would beat any other car for the same price. The only car that is better value is an Evo, but I would never ever ever get an Evo! Thats just lame.

They are both bone stock. If i down shifted when i ment to upshift it woulda been a whole other story. This was the first time i drove the 2008 and its hard to get used to a paddle shift tranny.

Yeah, I hear you. It took me a while to get used to the paddle shifters on my '08. Once you get the hang of them, you will see low 12's in your LS3, stock. Enjoy it, love mine.

As long as we remember the Auto 2008 Vette is still FASTER then the Manual M3, M5 and M6's, LOL...

The M3, yes. Manual M5 traps 4mph less in the 1/4mile (114mph) than the SMG version (118mph). The M6 is around 1-2mph above those digits. The LS3 vette (manual tranny) traps 114-115mph the quarter. An auto should be about the same, if anything slower. So you could give a manual M5 a run for their money (That if you manage to find any) and an M6 would still probably bit you. And thats from a dig, Im pretty sure from a highway roll they would still whoop you. Now an M3 w/ the new DCT whoops u too
