@akc12 I can understand why you don't like MTSes but this is pretty much like saying "my run on CTT is similar but you gain a minute on those shift boosts alone!". Well yeah, of course I do. It's called advanced techniques and time trial for a reason.
I wasn't like those Japanese players who banned themselves from using Quick Cannon-G4. I just couldn't keep up with the MTS, side attack drift to get into perfect position for another MTS in .5 seconds. I was fading away when this was being used and I just didn't want to learn it. It was just MTS to the extreme, and I wasn't good enough.
@akc12 Fair enough! Sorry, I misunderstood your first comment - thought you were criticizing the fact that MTSes are used heavily on some tracks :) Agree with what you said.
To be frank, what separates me from you is extreme shift boosting, MTS'ing and execution. I can shave off a minute or 2 in the shift boost crazy runs in those shift boost crazy runs. And in over half of the rest of the tracks, I can shave another minute just for sliding all over the track in the first lap. Then it's just making it happen, perhaps with a little luck too.
For the best time, use the best machine, best techniques. The Japanese players IMO are pansies for not learning this.
glorious finish...if darth vader were here i'm sure he'd say something like, "most impressive" or the like...excellent control considering if u performed anything short of that you'd jettison off the stage with that machine...in any case i imagine your hands resemble a lumberjack's what with all the hours of honing and fuck-ups
My run is similar, but you gain 5 seconds on those MTSes alone. Honestly, that killed the time trial scene to me
