You have amazing talent, I've watched about 20 of your videos so far and they are great! I really want to start getting into enviromental concept art and this as well as some of your other videos have helped me with the basics. Would you consider perhaps making a video teaching us about the refining process? For example, talking through the process of drawing and adding detail to the rocks? Would be greatly appreciated! Again, fantastic art friend.
@munchchewy0 If you are new to digital painting or painting in general then yes. It's condense. Watch more vids on my channel then you will have better idea.
Hey man I have purchased several of your vidz. I have the one you did on perspective city drawings. I wish you would do some step by steps on waterfalls and landscape paintings.
@artworkbymoze Thanks for the support. But it is not really necessary to lay down perspective grid on organic shape. You can guess light and shadow. Plus you can make tons of random shapes. As for city scape? You have to be precise because everything is rigid and in order. That's why you will need perspective grid for city, interior, and most of man made objects. ;-)
@idrawgirls I wasn't talking about laying down a grid. I just want you to do some step by steps (longer videos) on landscapes. I am not much for drawing figures but would love to learn more about how you go about doing landscape drawings like this one. I love this video....
@artworkbymoze I have about 10 similar videos and more step by step similar to this one. Though it is more of conceptual landscape that I do. They are on my channel and my blog. Have you look? check your pm.
I hope this question doesn't annoy you but could you tell me what you are using to record while you are drawing and how it works? Thanks and keep up doing this
What kind of color should I chose to paint "realistic" like you do?
Every time I draw something, I just HAVE to paint it, but it is really hard to figure on how to paint it realistic instead of direct strong color, the ground, the grass and stuff, the details, but I know that you dont paint/draw every grass straw, so wuts the techniq?
@rico6111 Focus on value on muted color first, then color will come naturally. Start off with using ref if you are beginner. Also don't get overwhelm by detail. Squint and make it simple, they are really just blobs of color. If you know what I mean.
How can you like know... I mean, first it looks like you just draw like random lines. but then you make it so... perfect? I mean, how the heck can you know? Do you make it random or do you see it infront of you?
wow, i thought you were just doodling around and i didn't realize that i was already looking at the waterfall. dude you're amazing, wow....i thought you would be concentrating on drawing the waterfall, didn't realize you can draw one by drawing those surrounding it, great great great job!
Hey i was wondering. When you colour in things, if you colour in a bit, then click again to touch it up. how do you stop it making the colour darker? Thanks :)
@tautescu01 hes painted it recorded it, sped it up and played it recorded it, and while he played and recorded he voiced over and he used the mouse to point to things
Artists are like wizards to me they amaze me how they can visualize something on a blank piece of paper and then create a picture. This is even more cool as he is using Photoshop and taking shapes and using them to make what he wants. Great stuff.
Great drawing. Your right on what you said about look at shapes within shapes; allow the dark areas to show through lighter areas to creat a sense of tonal values. Amazing video.
How do you have your layers set up for this? I don't see you switching layers, did you just sketch this all on one layer somehow?

when you start using color, do you choose it everytime before you apply it or you have some sort of brush that can change it by itself ?

@Cre8iveSignWorks its not really possible to use digital methods in real media.
its best to think of digital as its own form of media. its no less real than oil or watercolor. just cheaper and cleaner (in the long run)
