  • How do you have your layers set up for this? I don't see you switching layers, did you just sketch this all on one layer somehow?

  • when you start using color, do you choose it everytime before you apply it or you have some sort of brush that can change it by itself ?

  • yeah...dnb sound in the background :)

  • Do you have a plugin for the brushes you use??

  • 0:20 DONE

  • Real life needs a graphics update.

    Well done.

  • I swear you area goddest or what ever lol you are insperational

  • @eskimo13girl LOL, thanks. No problem.

  • I'll give you this, you do well on the computer. How's your traditional art skill?

  • @HaroldSink Why? Are you paying me to do one? Go check my blog and website then you will never question me. ;-)

  • Plantations.

  • @Naughtonizers Are you new?

  • You have amazing talent, I've watched about 20 of your videos so far and they are great! I really want to start getting into enviromental concept art and this as well as some of your other videos have helped me with the basics. Would you consider perhaps making a video teaching us about the refining process? For example, talking through the process of drawing and adding detail to the rocks? Would be greatly appreciated! Again, fantastic art friend.

  • Is it normal to not understand how it was done at all, but you are amazed?

  • @munchchewy0 If you are new to digital painting or painting in general then yes. It's condense. Watch more vids on my channel then you will have better idea.

  • the music makes me want to punch something

  • I can't still do that

  • at first I was like, wtf is he doing. THen at the near end I was like, how da heck did he do that!? LOL

@idrawgirls did you you use several layers or just one layer for this? o_o

  • @xKJx25 A few at first then I merge them, then I might make more if I need and merge them again.

  • u have a cute voice...lol

  • @TheFrayRocks1 Thanks...I often get the same comment like this on most of my video. Maybe I will consider career change. ;-)

  • i don't understand... your pictures are amazing but 1 sec they are blobs... then all of a sudden its a beautiful landscape...

  • @ZackTheGuitarist1993 That's painting for ya. ;-)

  • Hey man I have purchased several of your vidz. I have the one you did on perspective city drawings. I wish you would do some step by steps on waterfalls and landscape paintings.

  • @artworkbymoze Thanks for the support. But it is not really necessary to lay down perspective grid on organic shape. You can guess light and shadow. Plus you can make tons of random shapes. As for city scape? You have to be precise because everything is rigid and in order. That's why you will need perspective grid for city, interior, and most of man made objects. ;-)

  • @idrawgirls I wasn't talking about laying down a grid. I just want you to do some step by steps (longer videos) on landscapes. I am not much for drawing figures but would love to learn more about how you go about doing landscape drawings like this one. I love this video....

  • @artworkbymoze I have about 10 similar videos and more step by step similar to this one. Though it is more of conceptual landscape that I do. They are on my channel and my blog. Have you look? check your pm.

  • This is amazing :o Hahah, I have art appreciation and now i really get why digital art is really art now :] (by that I mean photoshop art)

  • I hope this question doesn't annoy you but could you tell me what you are using to record while you are drawing and how it works? Thanks and keep up doing this

  • @17dbJohn Any screen capture and recording program will work. Google it and you will find cheap or free ones.

  • What kind of color should I chose to paint "realistic" like you do?

Every time I draw something, I just HAVE to paint it, but it is really hard to figure on how to paint it realistic instead of direct strong color, the ground, the grass and stuff, the details, but I know that you dont paint/draw every grass straw, so wuts the techniq?

  • @rico6111 Focus on value on muted color first, then color will come naturally. Start off with using ref if you are beginner. Also don't get overwhelm by detail. Squint and make it simple, they are really just blobs of color. If you know what I mean.

  • How can you like know... I mean, first it looks like you just draw like random lines. but then you make it so... perfect? I mean, how the heck can you know? Do you make it random or do you see it infront of you?

  • @GameraFiction I don't, just a lot of practice everyday. Then...that's it.

  • Hi, I have some questions.

How many layers did you use?

What setting did you set the color layer on?

  • @H0tkebab Too long to write here, check your PM.

  • @idrawgirls

Wow, that was a really fast response. Thank you very much for taking the time to PM me. You rock! =)

  • @H0tkebab No problem

  • What the...

How can people draw like taht (envy).

I mean... I see him drawing it but i just can't comprehend it :S

    <-- Confused about drawing. :O

  • @ Rach113> I FEEL THE SAME WAY. HE'S AMAZING!!!

  • Nice work. But I think you mean 'vegetation', not 'plantation'. A plantation is something else all together.

  • wow, i thought you were just doodling around and i didn't realize that i was already looking at the waterfall. dude you're amazing, wow....i thought you would be concentrating on drawing the waterfall, didn't realize you can draw one by drawing those surrounding it, great great great job!

  • I could do that, I just dont want to :P just kidding

  • Please, it's not plantation it's foliage.

  • This is just so awesome!

  • Where do you get all those brushes from?

    Can anyone help?

  • @Lerrantes

You can make them out of the presets that photoshop gave.

  • @Cre8iveSignWorks its not really possible to use digital methods in real media.

its best to think of digital as its own form of media. its no less real than oil or watercolor. just cheaper and cleaner (in the long run)

  • fakir: and less expensive (well...after the initial cost of PS CS2+) lol

  • this is amazing !!!!!!!

  • That is imposible for me, man, you maked me think :/.

    [You very very very good]

  • its amazing Really well done! wish i was that good. :) practice makes pefect i guess

  • Man.... I want to be as good as him.. He can draw people, places without trouble. Ffs. I still have a few years worth of A LOT of practicing.

  • Artists are like wizards to me they amaze me how they can visualize something on a blank piece of paper and then create a picture. This is even more cool as he is using Photoshop and taking shapes and using them to make what he wants. Great stuff.

  • what program is this?

  • wow, your work is really inspiring. I want to do this now! it looks really interesting and fun!

  • I SUCK AT THE WATERFALL!!!! T^T

  • painting????????????????

  • I love his tutorials

    I love his art

    I love his accent

  • @Vamavid He doesnt have an accent idiot!

  • @GMAN1151001 Huh?

  • @Vamavid damit i just Failed.

  • @GMAN1151001 :) Don't sweat it.

  • Beautiful work.

  • need to get better on bg, this will really help, specially on the brushing technike, i suck at rocks and the kind lol

  • Great drawing. Your right on what you said about look at shapes within shapes; allow the dark areas to show through lighter areas to creat a sense of tonal values. Amazing video.

  • nice rough

  • It never looks like what the artist wants it to look like at first. :x But yeah, you're awesome at drawing.

  • the water which is fallinglooks like strings...the rest is fine

  • I can remember this one! It's one of the first I have seen of yours (but not the first!)... and still one of my favorites.

I always ask myself how do you pick the right color... like for the rocks and the other plantation.

    Amazing!

  • yeah, I wonder that too, and how much of the reference to use...great vid though.
