Bone stock escort gt runs a 13-14 second 1/4 mile time, and it can take up to 15 pounds of boost on the stock engine no problem. Its mazda to the core and best respect it.
i dont know what your smoking but i want some. a stock escort GT has a curb weight of 2450lbs and puts out 127hp, they dont do better than mid 15's in the 1/4 mile on a good day.
by comparison, a mustang GT weighs in at 3450 and puts down 300hp, and they run low 13's in stock trim.
ford wouldnt let their economy car compete with their flagship muscle car in a 1/4 miles run..think about it.
