  • I guess my Pixie palm is to old for that app. :-(

  • I feel like there should be this youtube community for infertile vloggers again! I just started vlogging about my journey as well and I would like to have a couple more viewers.

  • We are also TTC #2 naturally for now. We have MFI so not really the same situation as you but hopefully we will both get a nice surprise and not have to go back to the RE. For us, we want to get though DS first birthday, Christmas and our Disney world vacation before going back to the RE so we won't be back there until March of next year. Here's hoping for a surprise bfp for both of us. Can't wait to hear how this cycle has been going!! :)

  • Hi Carla, great vid as always! Have you ever heard about the Billings Ovulation Method? It applies to short, normal and long cycles and also during breastfeeding. I do hope it will help!

  • What type of camera do you use to do your videos? I want to start doing youtube videos but I need to find a good camera. Thanks!! Love your vids!!

  • I thought there was no ovulating while breastfeeding? Why did I think that?

  • that sux about not being able to use a midwife. in Australia a vbac 1 c-section is done by a midwife. i had my vbac 2 c-sections by a midwife as well :) they seriously interfere less then doctors do.

  • So if you have to go back to the fertility dr, how does that work while you are still breastfeeding and the meds you would need to take?

  • bahaha!!!! When you first said IP Free, the first thing that ran through my head was IP Freely. XD

Have you heard of any women having PCOS, but not having the cysts? I read something about it on the internet and was curious. When I was 16, it was suspected that I had it, but I didn't have an u/s done until I was 22, and I don't recall them telling me anything remarkable. It was an abdominal u.s though, not sure if that would make a difference.

  • "... maybe four... maybe more." Go you! I have four and I am wiped out! My sister has five and my best friend is due in a few weeks with her fifth. Overachievers. lol.

  • You can have a VBAC with a midwife!! I have one and I live just outside of Eugene!!

  • Your app looks a lot like pinkpad that I use on Android. I love that kind of stuff. Lol at the freely. I got lost. It wasn't your fault I will watch it tomorrow when my brain is on the same page I am. lol.

  • a good app for blackberry fans is period calendar deluxe.. been using it for 2 years and it's awesome! very similar to the one you use. charts flow, symptoms, moods, temps, cycle days, cervical fluid, etc. just throwing it out there for the BB users :)

  • Exciting and informative! SO happy to be TTC at the same time, Carla.

  • That App is amazing! I have used it for a year and a half! I haven't been diagnosed with pcos but i had a cyst burst on my right ovary in dec. I had an ultrasound last thursday because I had pain which I assumed was another cyst except on my left ovary this time and I was right I have a 3.5cm cyst. NO FUN! I am not TTC but I worry about what will happen when I am ready for that. Thanks for the video it kind of shows me what I may have to go up against when I am ready to start TTC.

  • between my miscarriages and my fist baby was a very long time. then after marah was born 7-11-08 i was already pregnant again by November. I had my second daughter on 8-20-2009 She was a c-section. We started trying around chirstmas of that year and i did not get pregnant with this child till October 2010. I am now due again a week. This all happened with pcos and also factor v luden (a blood clothing disorder) I did not get pregnant with this child until i gave up trying. goodluck

  • Love every single one of your videos and Hannah is adorable!! I always look forward to your face in my inbox. =]]

  • .. I am sort of apprehensive to ttc while in such a stressful school program. My obgyn has already told me he'd like to start off immediately with clomid and metformin. I have some reservations about that because I feel like some other testing should be done first. Anyhow - sorry for the ramble on about me! I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos and how excited I am to follow you on another TTC journey because this time I'll actually be trying as well =). I still have a lot to learn!

  • I love your videos, they are so helpful! I am in my last year of nursing school to become an RN and my husband and I are casually TTC now, I guess you would say. I have PCOS as well, even though I've always been confused by that because all my hormone levels are always normal and I have no ovarian cysts. I go through cycles of normal periods then REALLY long stretches up to 60 days of nothing. We are just seeing what happens right now trying naturally. In August I am starting my last year so....

  • I had an emergency c-section with my daughter as well back in Feb '09 and I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this fear!! I hope everything goes easy for you!! <3

  • My birthday is September 18 :) GOOD LUCK TO YOU

  • The trick to cure infertility with PCOS is to keep your sugars low at all times

fingers crossed for a strong BFP for you

I'm on that TTC wagon next month, reversed my PCOS by keeping sugars low at all times :)

  • <3 you! Great new series! Looking forward to following this journey with you. What was that app called?

  • iPeriod free or iPeriod lite. :)

  • Great vid.

  • Thanks sweetie!

  • Carla thanks so much for posting this video! It's great to have a PostPartum Pcos reference from someone who has similar PCOS symptoms to mine. Love the pink phone sleeve! It's very Carla.

  • You're welcome Mary! Are you going to be ttcing again soon? or are you already?

  • @thebubblelush I second this question! I watched both of your pregnancy vlogs and would LOVE to see a second set from you too <3 (And now, I'm TTC too! Also with PCOS)

  • @thebubblelush Yes we are going to be TTCing very soon. I am going to wait until my first cycle. I am 7 months Postpartum and I think it may be coming soon because my supply is starting to go all over the place and I have been getting really crampy. I am going to see how my cycles go but most likely I will start go back to the fertility clinic after my first two cycles. So I am right behind you! Hopefully we can be prego together again! I am loving all your video's. I need to start making more!

  • I am waiting for my first cycle to start. I think it will be soon because my supply is all over the place and I am starting to get crampy. But with PCOS who knows LOL! Anyway I am going to start going to a fertility clinic after my first two "cycles" I love all your new video's they are so great and informative. Hannah is such a darling. And she looks just like her momma. I need to get my ass in gear and start making more video's to. :)

  • Good luck! :) I was wondering if this was the same where you are. My dr last told me here in Ma you can have a vbac 2 years after baby? Also they had said something about vbac allowed if having 1st vaginal birth. Just wondering if it is the same where you are. With my last child they wouldn't let me vbac because my son was a year and a half old. Totally sucked :/

  • I went from a General Dr to a fertility specialist to a Midwife, so I actually do not have an obgyn to ask this question. BUT I'm actually trying to find a good obgyn to meet with before REALLY trying to conceive.

  • @thebubblelush I hope it all works out for you all!! Good luck!!!!! :) We won't be trying for our last till 2013, because of my c-section and the dr specifying 2 years or more for uterus to heal said I could vbac if I waited that long. So fingers crossed my last child won't be c-section. I have had 3 already and I don't want a 4th. :(

  • I don't know anything about what you are going through but I wish you all the best with having bub #2 and hope you get a sticky soon :)

  • Thank you! :)

  • You can have a vbac with a midwife, my sister attempted a vbac with a midwife practice that also had a ob/gyn on staff in case of c-section.

  • This is not an accurate statement. Many hospitals and under pressure to DECREASE their number of csections and INCREASE their number of VBACs.

  • Have you ever thought of planning a homebirth in case you go late again? I am planning a hbac because I went 42 weeks and 5 days and was under a lot of pressure from the CNM's to induce. I ended up with a csection because of positioning but I am planning on a hbac next birth because I know how rough it is refusing inductions plus ur is a lot higher with an induction anyway.

  • The reason I agreed to the induction was because of my blood clotting disorder. The longer Hannah stayed in there, the greater the chance that I would pass a blood clot to her and she'd be still born. That sounds very dramatic, but its just the reality of this disorder. I'll have a csection every time if it means I have a healthy baby.

  • you can have a midwife and even a home birth if you are trying for a vback. You have a much better chance having a vback if go with a midwife.

  • True. Its my concern about the blood clotting disorder that would keep me from pursuing a home birth. I still plan to look into a birthing center, but most likely I'll feel most comfortable at a hospital.

  • good luck with baby number two!! I know my fertility specialist had me on blood thinners in my 2ww so im glad you are looking to see a specialist to get pregnant. I think its a GREAT thing to already be on the blood thinners before the baby even implants.

  • @TheTurnersJourney I agree. I was on baby aspirin when I conceived Hannah. :)
