@trekkian88 You must be a law student? I hope and pray you don't abuse of any clients or your work staff. Let me give you my 2 cents worth on this issue. I feel that Paralegals are overworked and sometimes underpaid, and someone posting stating they should make more than a lawyer is just a reasonable response from someone who has inside knowledge. Try to relax ok?

Because most attorneys are men. Law firms are old school. If you have the IQ of 10 but have big boobs you'll get hired. Being a paralegal is a shit job! Lawyers have no back bone and will never support you.

I ended up as a paralegal accidentally, not knowing I was going to be a paralegal until the day I started the job. Now the lawyers squeeze out every bit of brain power I have to do their dirty work.

Well, as I said I became one accidentally. I was told by the firm owner that I will be working on his website but on my first day it was revealed that website was part of his long term plan for me. As a paralegal I am responsible for talking with clients, getting their information, telling them to bring documents needed to prove what they are saying is true. Then filling out all the relative forms through a software and filing them with the Government/ courts. Not too hard but extremely boring.

A lot of paralegals  go onto law school nowadays.

They make much better lawyers then the ones going out of law schools who cannot write documents worth crap and are still dumber than a bucket of nails.

I agree. The Organization XIII is an example of good lawyers. Xemnas and Marluxia should be in the Supreme Court and Axel is a prosecutor.

@Nottinghami25 My Mom has been a paralegal since the late 80s she has a masters in criminal justice and some other paralegal certification.....Anyway we live in the U.S. and she makes over $ 100,000 a year
