the producers/makers of this cartoon were on to something well before aaron spelling tapped into the market with 90210 or movies like Clueless, so our desire to waych the rich and young is nothing new - I know this is a simple cartoon but its shows that as far back as the 80s the appetite was there for it, hence the Hills success and the real OC etc. We just seem to have so much more now that the 80's - fast forward 25 years or so and bam Heidi Montag - real life barbie - well u know what I mean
