  • Ou men i have this fan in my Mediacenter and it sucks.

  • и чо вы нам пропеллер показали?

  • throw that cooler pls away its so damn loud aamd stock cooling sucks !

  • I have this same fan.. older ppls runned to bomb shelters when i turned PC on.

  • speakinof hairdryer... it's cheaper than that configuration and makes the same noise level

  • AND AGAIN.. some one stole this from the nasa i belive..

  • Seriously dude, change your CPU fan..

  • All of the stock fans that come with the 965 are like that?

  • @jarskiXD

    no

  • yeah aftermarket cooler is a mus for this 1

  • @ALPHAHXCORE Actually it cools decently well if you put it on correctly. But yes, this is how mine sounds when it's revved up too.

  • @polarablues64 well, I didn't say it doesn't cool the cpu, I said the cooler is must, because that is amazingly noisy, I don't know about you but I could hear it from outside my room wiht the door closed, maybe some cases dampen the sound a but but this is a fuking wind turbine

  • man is that fuckinn thing loud, ?! i think i will buy an other coller when i buy it!!!!!!

  • Try spending $40 and get a good heatsink, Intel's stock heatsinks are just as bad

  • 確かにAMDのリテールは冷えなくてうるさいだけの「飾りのおまけ」ですな。

  • AMD Cool and Quite is what you need installed :D

  • awesome fan!

  • Motherboard?

  • I have the same... fan is loud as hell but I fixed it :d

  • @Ipwnneobs how?

  • @Littlestokesey well, i went to bios and threw the fan speed down to 4 or 2 depends.went to power settings in windows and set balanced mode ... so its really silent when not playng games. btw if u have asrock motherboard download asrock OC tuner and there u can controll fan speed on the fly :)

    hope it helps!

  • Your fan is not level. You can clearly jear its out of balance and making a ra ra ra ra ra ra rar a ra ra ra sound.

  • i have to say it...

    thats a shitty cooler

  • な、な、なんじゃこりゃーーー

  • AMDのリテールって何でこんなに凄いのか

  • Comment removed

  • stock cooler sucks :P

  • Mine's exactly the same, same cpu and original fan and it is LOUD! i even moved it to the other side of my room because the noise is unbearable.

  • Wow, I thought that heatsink only came with x6 processors. (i have one and also, it's not NEARLY as loud, actually it's quiet.)

  • did it fly the fuck off later?

  • wow that fan sounds like my hairdryer xD

theyr really cheap, with good quality parts

and loyal customers like me haha

  • @masik7290 oh cool, i thought newegg was a case haha... i just checked they don't have a UK site :)

they MIGHT ship things to London, but there will be a lot extra cost and it will take a little more time than Scan :)

  • @pashaahsj ive never heard of scan but i guess its cuz its a uk site, idk if theyr cheap or not cuz i dont know how much a pound is

  • @masik7290 oh well just google this:

  • thats too loud :S

  • machst du bios menü fan speed control enable....

  • it's the stock heatsink

  • mobo = asus Asus M4A87TD EVO?

  • у меня с этим 965 -м хреномом Thermaltake MaxOrb не справляеться, мож виной 40 в тени, хотя стампинг c 3? ???

  • My stock cooler for the x4 965 isnt that nosy i just got it today :D

    its a different version i think, 3500RPM, 46 °C at Load

  • Oh, and FYI, I never tried the stock fan block that came with the 965 BE so I can't confirm how loud it is, I just know that my CM Hyper N520 is ridiculously quiet and works really well. I don't even have it hooked up to my fan controller... Later on when I buy the much faster fans for it, I'll hook it up to the fan controller and have them set to as noisy as the graphics card and power supply fans so it's all balanced. Also, the N520 doesn't take up as much room as some of the other fan blocks.

  • wat een herie !

  • hey man but you can change the RPM on amd overdrive right ? :D

  • omfg dB of the cooler? s:

  • 僕のメイン1号機はPhenomⅡ X4 965BE

    積んでるんですが、リテールクーラーを使ってたときは

    音が・・・www今は兜クーラーつかってるんですけどねw

  • @25Haju リテールクーラーは正直常用するには厳しいですね~音的にも温度的にも。 兜のほうが静かで良く冷えますよねw

  • i have the same prosesor but the same fancooler its s noisy i changed it for a coolermaster tx3

  • fucking noisy? why is the rig so loud?

  • sounds like bad bearings on that fan... 80mm? I'll be buying that CPU in a few days, and I'm happy that the fan is replaceable cuz I'll be mounting a red LED fan to it and if possible will be under-clocking it to quad 2.4ghz cuz 3.4ghz is more then overkill for any and all games that I'll ever play for the next year and will give me time to get a bigger/better fan block. Ppl are too dumb to realize this but all games can run on max settings with a dual core CPU as long as the video card is good.

  • @turgsh01 well i used the stock cooler when i first got this cpu the b3 version and trust me when the fan speeds at max on the hsf it is loud loud loud

i advise everyone to get the coolit eco with this cpu

even with 1.5 voltages it still stays silent and never goes over 50c

now matter if ure prime testing it for hours

  • @Makavelian5408 I bought the "Coolermaster Hyper N520 Copper 5-HEATPIPE". I tried the auto overclock switch on my motherboard and the CPU went up to almost 4Ghz on all cores and it still ran nicely, I forget what the temp was, but it never reached beyond 55C at peak load. I keep it at the default 3.4Ghz instead of under-clocking cuz it idles at a few degrees above room temp and peeks at only 37C and is completely silent, I'll be getting faster red LED fans soon cuz, the stock ones are too quiet.

  • you bet

  • Get Corsair H50 water cooler, no noise, the temperature is kept to about 30 celcius degrees much much better cooling and the sound is just about 20dB here you got more like 60 dB with the stocked cooler. And the standard cooling is about 38 - 42 celcius degrees with the stocked cooler with 3200 - 5200 rotations in the minute.

  • Why did someone thumb this down? :) The stock cooler is insane, not usable, have the corsair h50 but haven't installed it yet so i hope what Frede states is true!

  • Yey! u got the same processor AND Motherboard as me! 790FX-GD70 from msi! Kickass!!!

  • visto che carine? girano!

  • このノイズはなんですか、結構うるさく感じますけど。。。GPUとかCPUファン?

  • i think both..

  • Wow there must be a factory out there giving out bad fans, cuz mine was silent.

  • I'm happy I put a cooler master Hyper TX3 on my 720BE those AMD cpu coolers are loud and suck for over clocking.

  • Thats very loud. oO

  • yeah that is quite lou for a gaming PC

  • wtf?! why is your soo loud. i have the same board and cpu and cooler. its extremely quiet

  • @trent1234108 i have the same cpu and its buttfuckinginly horribly loud.. im switching the fan next week.. cant stand it.. i get temps of over 65 celcius when gaming

  • wow must have been a bad batch of them going around. mine is fine, and verry low temps hardly reaches 50 celcius during crysis at maxed settings

  • Mine also....around 3000-5000 RPM~ Loud like hell...

  • @newkokyuan i have checked under the cooler, and the surface was scratched!.. thats why it didnt cool properly and the fan was crazy loud.

im gonna get the processor changed now.

  • @oggedask, mine don't have scratched but also loud like hell...Have you change up the processor?

  • @newkokyuan im gonna change it tomorrow, the store where i bought it change it for free. They have gotten other scratched processors from the AMD phenom x4 965 BE 140W versions.. the 125W seems to be OK.

  • wow i oppologize, it wasnt loud at first but now! its the loudest thing in mysystem! it does keep it cool, in the 20's during idle. never gotten to 50 even when playing crysis so it cools good. but i understand the loudness now. i can turn the rpm lower that 3500rpm which id stock speed! i gues it just took a while for mine to get that loud lol

  • @trent1234108

i changed my fan now for a NExus Xir 3500. very silent.

But still extremely hot. ive gotten over 74!! Celsius in prime95

  • have ou tried getting it replaced? is that at stock clocks?

  • @trent1234108 its at stock clock. 1.35 V

gets absurdly hot. i have had i changed once already and the guy in the store told me to fuck off yesterday when i tried to change it.

  • wow thats insane. try complaining to AMD about it. thats a serious problem!

  • @trent1234108 yea but its always difficult to try to complain to the manufacturer, they usually just forward you to the place of purchase...

im gonna try and change the thermal paste, i took to much probably...

  • let me know how that works out for ya.

  • I have this one...and the fan is very noisy. Especially when the CPU reaches top speeds...

  • That thing is loud.

  • watch my videos my cpu cooler is 3 times bigger

  • I have a Intel CPU Pentium 4 HT 2.80Ghz.First i have the original fan then i thought. Why not put 1 extra fan on the original fan. Then when i tried it out it was awesome. From 34c it went down to about 21c idle. Then i tried to put another fan and it is more awesome.15c idle and 23c over clocked at 3.2Ghz.Amazing!!!.You should try it some time.

  • i have the stock fan but neverd tried it on mine amd 965 cpu is it loud and that temp do you have?

  • omfg what an huge chipset cooling

  • @multimodder it's MSI 790fx GD70 motherboard :D

  • hey what temps did you get with the stock fan???

  • Like 30C Idle and 52C full load

  • thnx thats better then my 940 that was 52 on idle!!!!

  • Damn. Sounds like you had a terrible cooler.

  • it was the stock cooler .....it was crap I just got my 965 and it runs really cool even when overclocked too 3.92

  • @tobysuniverse Are you saying that the 965 is cooler than 955 with the same cooler?

  • Comment removed

  • that kinda loud gonna have to swap that cpu heat sink on mine then

  • is that the original cpu cooler ?

  • @multimodder Yes, that is the Original CPU Cooler with the 965 Black Edition

  • what a shit cooler it is to small an to loud i bought an scythe mugen 2 and my cpu is always on 20°C and if all 4 cores are working on 100% too

  • looud, but niice board

  • it would be much more quite if the guy wouldn't have used the stock fan but rater a raelly good CPU fan like the V10 by Cooler Master

  • yeah its really loud, had to switch for coolermaster v8 after annoying 3days of using it.

  • Ye phenom 965 kicks ass. Especialy now 125watt version has arived and the price will drop to €158 :P im going to build a new system with it next month. I5 750 might seem awsome too but it still is a crippeld nehalem. one without hyperthreading or triple channel. also fitting less pins then 1366 which can result in socket and cpu burning when overclocking. read the P55 oveclocking warning on anand tech. While phenom 965 are the best quality cpu's out of AMD's wafers.

  • @ixyoux1 my opinion

  • Nice stuff man, whats your setup?

  • Nice Video and Nice Motherboard & AMD CPU :)

  • Nice cpu, but your video card isn't good. Buy an HD4850 or better man!

    vlwzxx..

  • AMD Phenom II X4 965 vs intel q9650 vs Intel Quad 9650 Which is best?

  • In my opinion the AMD 965 is better, because you can upgrade in the future. The intel platform is old, and is nearing the end of its time.

In terms of performance I Think the 3.4 GHz Phenom II is faster still.

  • Ok thanks. I am putting 8gb of DDR 3 in at 1600. With a GFX 295. I hope it runs Op flashpoint 2 well.

  • 8gb of ram sounds good.

You can keep costs down if you go with DDR2. Since AMD can use DDR2 with little draw back on performance. Just make sure your Mother board supports it.

  • I ordered DDR 3 with 1600 mhz. It has been ordered get it Friday I hope. Look forward to a demo of Op flashpoint 2 soon to test my PC to the max.

  • @warriorprince1010

    OVERKILL.

  • Both Op flashpoint and MW2 look great.

  • @warriorprince1010

    crysis?

  • Yep crysis looks great. I am playing MW2 all the time and it looks superb.

  • @warriorprince1010 its massive but hey any machine that can do crysis is worth dealing with the work and noise

  • AMD Phenom II X4 965 Beat that Intel !

  • Niceeeeeeeeee.... What's the clock speed for that gpu??
