Lovely video. I love this version of "Some Children See Him." I was so happy to see that James Taylor included it on his first Christmas cd, and did such a beautiful job. I've performed the choral version but this one tugs at my heart every time I hear it. I am a Christian, but I get discouraged by the actions of my fellow believers sometimes: so much bigotry and hatred and fear of "the other." We must remember that we're all God's children, and this song reminds us of this.
this song and james taylor's rendition make me cry, too. i think the violins push me over the edge. that and the sadness and hopelessness of the hateful ways of some in the world. i am no longer a strong believer, but i miss it terribly. this song hits me in the part of me in pain. peace on earth.
The first time I heard this song I cried. Seeing your video made me cry. I'm not a Christian, but beauty can show itself and be heard by every race and religion. This song, and your video, transcends all. Thank you.
An absolutely awesome video! The art images are outstanding. What a wonderful blend of the visual arts and the voice of one of my most favorite vocalists, James Taylor!
Very well done!
