@kingwilly1000 I applied to chrome tape first because I wanted to make sure that the surface for the tape was not painted on so in case I needed to reapply for any reason due to A mistake, I would NOT have to worry about ANY paint peeling or anything.

I used dupli color caliper paint, it has a shine of its own and does great at retaining its finish under heat and daily driving conditions. @mrgeo310

@mrgeo310 No I didn't primer or sand surface. I cleaned surface very well first and made a total of two coats with about 15 min in between. be sure to romove tape quickly before it starts to dry to good or it will pull the paint up. Let sit in sun to dry well.

what did you do on the inside of the grill to protect the fan and all the internal components from the spray paint going through?

what i did was took the Grey insert of and then spray painted it but i washed it first,i didnt want to do it like this i was afraid it was going to drip. i got a Mercedes though
