  • If they do make a remake, they should have tim curry be pennywise again with the same makeup he gave me nightmares

  • i loved it

  • first time i saw this was in high and i'm still affrid of clowns now i'm worried they might take over the world

  • KISS MEH FAT BOYY!

  • i read they r going to make a remake of this movie

  • I think for the remake, they should get Jonathan Demme to helm the picture and Brian Helgeland to write the script, with Howard Shore to do the music.

  • yeah metelbassandguitar all the informaion out there is it will be a hard r rated movie from bevelys point of view and it will be set in 1980s and 2009,2011ish

  • The remake is supposed to be MUCH bloodier and much creepier and scary!

  • When i saw this movie for the 1st time i was 10..... And i literally couldn't sleep for a month without having someone with me, and if i saw a clown i would crawl into a fetal position lol

Now im 17 and this movie still scares the fuck out of me, its just one of those unique movies that will always be scary no matter how old you are.

  • I LOVE IT BOOK AND MOVIE ,I ALSO WAITING FOR THE IT REMAKE , IF ANYBODY HAS QUESTIONS ABOUT THE REMAKE FEEL FREE TO ASK

  • @edwardd668 Do you know when it is gonna come out. A year or Month or something?

  • The ending is shit, but even the film director and the actors admitted that on the DVD commentary, they had to stick by the book, and tried their best to "frighten", even if it is a shit ending

  • hehehehehehe right before you said it in my head I was like " A giant fucking spider...."

  • when i first seen this as a kid it scared the fuck outta me, all i could remember was the bit in the sewers an the bit wer beverly goes bk to her dads house, and when i watched it again when i was a bit older it didnt scare me at all. all the nostalgia just went out the window :( there is suppost to be a remake being made but as per usual with remakes today i dnt have high hopes for it ......

  • EPIC FAIL?

Well, that is how the book it was based on ended........

Did you even read the entire book?

Personally i disagree with your comments on the book I thought its pacing was great and was excellently written.

BTW the books ending was WAY more epic, Bill straight dives into that bug and squeezes its heart till it blows in his face!

Still the movie was pretty good.

  • that giant spider is ok.

  • I think the acting was good in some aspects, and bad in others. Although, I think the problem was the dialogue, not the actors themselves.

I grew up with this film, and I've always loved it, but now that I go back and re watch it, there are noticeable flaws.

Still an entertaining film, though. The atmosphere and emotion it creates is really great.

  • Do not bring that trash up in here mother fucker this is my house!!!

  • i lol'd out loud when i saw this movie

  • EAT BATTERY ACID!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its awesome. im a kid. i read the whole book. didnt skip pages because i loved it so much. S.K.makes books scare you let the tension go down, then make you crap yourself. common horror trick.

  • @FilmMasterAdam did you see the nostalgia critic review of IT

  • Kiss me fat boy!!!!!!

    Epic line

  • I think the Nostalgia critic is about to review this.

  • @dragonfanatic7 he already did and its hilarious as he always is.

  • POETS OF THE FALL!!! Sorry, I just get really happy when I hear people use their music.

I guess the giant spider would work for arachnophobes, but I kinda get why it fails so much. The biggest thing that makes King's work so scary is that it relates to real life. Anyone would know a Carrie or fear a dog or a clown and I'm pretty sure a spider is freakishly freaky too, but one that's about ten stories high is either stupid or pant-wetting. It worked for Tolkien and Rowling, but that's it.

  • this has to be one of my favorite movies because whenever i see a clown now i want to run LOL

  • Secondly here's all I have to say to this film! I will give it credit, It WILL indefinitely scare people with a fear of clowns. Because I don't have a fear of clowns, I will never be clenched with fear of this film. I completely agree with everything FilmMasterAdam has said in this video and his comments to me. I sincerly apologize to all the people who's seen this comment as it was childish, incorrect and negative! I hope we will all move on with our lives and pretend this never happened!

  • Firstly I would just like to say that I am promptly deleting all the comments I've put on this video!

  • Could there be a review of [Rec] in the near future??

  • Do you think a remake is necessary?

  • If that giant spider at end actually looked like a spider it could have been scary.

  • @LyleVSXyle what are you talking about this movie is scary when it comes to pennywise, this movies made people affraid of clowns.

  • DUDE (if your gonna start doing more retro reviews) REVIEW THE ALIEN QUADRILOGY AND GIVE SOME THOUGHTS ON RIDLEY SCOTTS PREQUEL!!!!!!!!!!

  • @LyleVSXyle If you mean that the remake of A Nightmare On Elm St is scary then you sir are a PUSSY!

  • @starkiller20293 No of course not! the original was really creative, the sequels sucked and the remake was....lame! The novelty is kinda gone now, but back then, that film was really unique!

  • @LyleVSXyle Lol I know what you were talkinga bout, just fukcing with ya

  • @starkiller20293 You can say that loud! Even the scenes where something just suddenly pops up for scares weren't scary, but anticipated.

  • and Adam, can you make a review of 28 weeks later and days later? I mean those two was prolly a good zombie movie in a long time until zombieland i have to say...

  • KISS ME FAT BOY.... MUWAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

  • yeah this movie can get boring but good none the less

  • @LyleVSXyle

Dude c'mon, Pandorum sucked balls. It had no plot, it took pride in ripping off both Mad Max & Alien, the direction was shit & the monsters in the film were CARBON COPIES of the ones from The Descent. Pandorum was all kinds of awful.

  • @FilmMasterAdam yup thats right m8

  • @FilmMasterAdam if you want scary I recommend trick r treat if you haven't already seen it. its actually not only scary but gasp well acted, well directed, and has great atmosphere.

  • someone please tell me the song in the intro

  • "O so u like Ronald McDonald huh?"

    "Yup!"

    "Ok go watch IT."

    "Ok!"

    2 days later

" So are u ready to go to Mc Donalds?"

"Um can we go to Burger King instead?"

  • this movie ruined my childhood

  • This movie use 2 scare the hell out off me....in fact i used to get freaked out wen some1 would talk about, then about a 3months ago i watched it,then i realized this movie is very boring and not creepy at all

  • To me this movie is a classic horror movie, that i grew up with and like..i remember when it debuted on tv in 5 parts....part of me would like to see this get remade and part of me dosent... i would like to see it get remade now ..becuase i would love to see what they could do with it now to make it scary..and cmon we just dont have any scary clowns in movies no more

  • i watched this when i was 4. sigh...

  • like the wwf poster

  • Because of this film I am afraid of clowns.

  • "Do not bring that trash up in here, motherfucka this is my house!!"

  • I've never seen it but I'll give it a rent.
