  • After Sledgehammer and Sussudio, Al should have snuck Silent Running by Mike & The Mechanics in. :-)

  • Can you guys believe that this is Madonna? 2:46-3:01

  • @icecremer you mean the woman who looks exactly like Madonna?

  • 28 people aren't weird enough.

  • Track listing Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel Sussudio by Phil Collins Party All the Time by Eddie Murphy Say You, Say Me by Lionel Ritchie Freeway of Love by Aretha Franklin What You Need by INXS Harlem Shuffle by Rolling Stones Venus by Bananarama Nasty by Janet Jackson Rock Me Ameadus by Falco Shout by Tears for Fears Papa Don't Preach by Madonna Ear Booker Polka by Weird Al
  • These videos are great! I just miss the track listing in the description on this one.

  • On the Harlem Shuffle why does Weird Al sing the Harlem Polka? It doesn't sound accurate.

  • @punkqueentheresa

    ik tok

    on the clock

but the polka dont stop -no

    yodayodaladyhoo yodayodaladyhoo

    -From Al

  • @FightingJEDI LOL That makes sense. I got it. Thanks. :D

  • I want a pink floyd polka or beatles polka!

  • It's a shame Rock me Amadeus lasts too little!!!

  • OMG, I LOVED the dancing chickens @ the beginning!!!!!

  • @KDVx3 That's from the original SledgeHammer (Peter Gabriel) Video :D

  • Whats the songs name when he sings " o baby she;s got it,im your fetus im your fire, tell me your desire" or something like that

  • @Janovjev Venus... Not Fetus

Hence the songs name being Venus

  • I think Weird Al should do a Metallica polka.

  • @SlackerAndy02 he has

  • @TheChoada I actually mean a medley of strictly Metallica songs. I know he had Enter Sandman on Polka Your Eyes Out. Kinda like the Hot Rocks Polka, when he had strictly Rolling Stones songs on that.

  • Anybody noticed Amy Grant's photo on 1:47? Probably originally included on the What You Need video.

  • Say you say me wah waah GOLD!

  • Man, imagine if Al did a 20 minute Polka medley with some of the best songs ever...

  • at Hardom shuffle it sounded like he said Hardom Polka

  • @Masterbaterbear Lolz, he said harlem shuffle tbh...

  • Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel

  • I think of all the artists n bandz hez polkad the Rolling Stonez have been the bamd that haz gotten their songz done more than any other.Could be wrong tho but hey he did one called "The Hot Rockx Polka" so maybe.

  • Haha he did both singers of Genesis back to back. I wonder if that was a coincidence.

  • was that eddie murphey

  • Yes!

  • this brings back SUCH memories as a kid...i had this album which of course included my other faves Here's Johnny (El Debarge's Who's Johnny), Addicted to Spuds, Living With a Hernea...sooooo 1986...

on his recent tour he opened up with much the same montage here, can't read my POLKA face, womanizer womanizer...etc. LOL!!!

  • Does he end every song on the album with: "HEY!"?

  • The only way to end a hard week at school is with some Weird Al polka

  • (^^)

  • Polka Gabriel! Now THATS international as well as cultural!

  • =D siiiiiiiiiiiiii traigan el VOCKA!!!!!!!!!!

  • the song from 2:07 did that guy said penis?

  • venus...your goddess of hot desire o.<

  • @4ube

dude, they are very clean but what ever

  • I gave it 5/5 just for the dancing chickens

  • GOD! the funniest one had to be "nasty boys" part!!! HAHAHHAHAHA! LOL

  • Blame Alanis Morissette

  • I find it ironic that he doez a polka verzion of "Sledgehammer" in this song n doez a slight parody of it in the "UHF" video.

  • I find it ironic that the people most likely to use the word 'ironic' are the least likely to know what it actually means.

  • @superbadlucre i find it ironic that people realy use the word ironc nowadays. we never used it back in nam

  • I find putting a steering wheel in my pants drives me nuts.

  • i want all the names of the songs

  • That was meant to be short? You need a dictionary...

  • @MUCKSTICKYIZZY OMG Nobody cares

  • whats the cartoon from 1:48-1:53 and again at 3:06 from?

  • The video for Rolling Stones' "Harlem Shuffle".

  • Terrific!! BTW, the Bohemian Polka is stellar as well!!!

  • The original is funnier

  • wtf is the deal with the chickin at the beginning?

  • The chicken is an integral part of the music video for the first song featured in the polka, Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer".

If you've never seen the video, I recommend it... it's one of the better videos of the 1980s. (One of the weirder ones, too.)

  • ok ill get right on that

  • That's from the original Sledgehammer video ... the guy who made the video timed the original videos to Al's polka version of their songs.

  • It's from the Sledgehammer video.

  • thats awesome dude

  • 2:29 I like to fart WHAT THE HECK!?

  • I think he said "I like this part"

  • Al says "I like this part", but the actual song is "I love this part".

  • Thanks for pointing that out! In my opinion it sounds like what I said but atleast I know what it really says :D

  • ah man therse a sick image, weird al in that madonna pointy bra thing

    *shudders*

  • lol'd so hard at 1:33 :D

  • If only Weird Al would do a Monty Python Polka

    Now that'd be sweet!

  • Dude. Brilliant. email sent.

  • @seatspud Why would you do a parody of satire?

  • @TheChoada It would be a tribute to his comedic forebears! (You might say, all these polka medleys are tributes as well, in their own way...)

  • @seatspud and mayby a oprea polka like songs of phantom of the oprea as polka

  • @seatspud Put two things popular with your typical nerds and stuff, that would be awesome (This is coming from someone who brags on being nerdy.) :p

  • @seatspud Hmmm...

    *Thinks about it*

    TAKE MY MONEY NOW

  • that's terrible! it's all messed up, It's ruined, It's perfect! thanks al, it's kinda like group therapy to know I'm not the only warped individual out there.

  • is the second video of Genesis?

  • Phil Collins - Sussudio

  • I still think my favorite is the Madonna "I'm going to keep my baby"

  • The song is actually called "Papa Don't Preach". I'm 5.8% gayer for having pointed that out publicly...to the point I'd be forced to take "truth" in a game played in Madonna's bed. That sucks.

  • lol.

  • ah hah ha hah.

  • shit, I forgot Eddie Murphy did that song. Very funny.

  • oh my god.. sludgehammer by peter gabriel..

  • sledgehammer ;)

  • author please put up the song list

  • Look down - a commenter's already done that for you about four months ago...

  • I saw that, and it would be better (in my opinion) if it was in the video info.

  • Anyone know the name of the polka song that plays during the first 15 seconds while the raw bird dances?

  • Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel.

  • Yep. Technically not a polka originally - but Weird Al adapted it. :)

  • I like the part with Rock Me Amadeus, when he said "I like this part" LOL

And to the comment under me it's Harlem Polka!

  • What's the cartoon between "what you need" and "harlem Shuffle"?

  • It's an animated sequence from the intro of the original "Harlem Shuffle" music video.

  • "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel, "Sussudio" by Phil Collins, "Party All the Time" by Eddie Murphy, "Say You, Say Me" by Lionel Richie, "Freeway of Love" by Aretha Franklin, "What You Need" by INXS, "Harlem Shuffle" by The Rolling Stones "Venus" by Bananarama "Nasty" by Janet Jackson, "Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco, "Shout" by Tears for Fears, and "Papa Don't Preach" by Madonna.

  • For anyone who has played GTA 3 or liberty city stories does 3:11 look familiar?

  • at 3:11 the screen is black because it's the video's end. I got LCS but nothing in the Vid looks like Lcs^^ maybe I didn't look exactly enough...

  • Whoops. I meant 2:44.

And it looks like the beach under Salvatores mansion.

  • Hey, you're right! cool^^

  • She don't even know my name, but I think she likes me just the same...

If she doesn't know your name, she probably doesn't.

    she looks kinda like micheal

  • wow.....speechless EXCEPT I WILL KEEP MY BABY!

  • I love the way he sings "In a pink Cadillac"! Is it Weird Al who sings that line?

  • No, thats his Bass player. He has that reel deep voice.

  • The 80's were a musical black hole.

  • 90s too

  • Oddly enough, there are many who will say the same of anything produced this century.

Its all a matter of personal taste. There are many who enjoyed music from the 80s and 90s although some might find it cheesy.

Likewise, there are also many who think that the hip/hop and R&B craze these days is just plain crass and overtly dependent on sexual undertones.

Who's right? The debate can go on forever, so why bother?

  • I am right in syaing that gangsta rap and RnB sucks... so, no debate there...

  • um does weird al take anything seriously....derrr he is funny

  • it seems like he doesnt ,right?!

  • ROCK ME AMADEUS!!

  • It's really a struggle to take polka seriosly though.

  • it's really a struggle to take the 80's seriously

  • so true.

  • What bothers me most about Al is he don't take the polka seriously.

  • Love that he threw Rock Me Amadeus in there. Love that song. And Sussudio, too.

  • YAY!!!!

  • This should be called "Totally 80's Polka" LOL

  • Maybe if he didn't write in the 80s, it would be.

  • Awsome Music

  • What music video is the animated cats from?

  • probebly the "Harlem Shuffle" but Al took it and renamed it the Harlem Polka

  • Some are old, some are from a few years ago. My favourite is Polarama.

  • It's angry white boy.

  • I honestly don't tihnk this is really polk, but the stop animation was AMAZING, os nice job on that :/

  • The song was originally "The Harlem Shuffle" by The Rolling Stones. I guess Al thought it wouldn't fit properly with the polka beat so he changed it to Harlem Polka.
