The 90s were easily the worst decade for horror and this film is celluoidic proof of that fact. Teenybopper horror; no blood/gore, no real atmosphere to speak of, uuggh.

@grindhousejunky79 i know there are a lot of people who dont like this film but i would just like to point out that there is actually a pretty good amount of gore & creative deaths in this film as well as atmophere, those are two things that you really cant say this movie doesnt have, the 90's may not have been the best for horror but there were some pretty damn good ones of that time and IKWYDLS is at the very least one of the better slashers of that time.

@Cropsy25 Yeah Kevin Williamson tried to replicated exactly what he thought worked before. Thats cheap. John Carpenter on the other hand who is talneted couldve milked Halloween cause it was successful but did a ghost story and an alien one after halloween. Williamson is a one trick pony.
