snap shots are for catching the goalie by surprise and to get it off quickly and on net if in trouble btw for wrists shots u want to have the ball or puck behind u when u start that way ur using ur weight to drive the puck or ball forward flex also helps with power but u cant flex a stick without weight the only thing ur wrists do in a wrist shot is to control where the puck is going so dont listen to this idiot

This seems to be more of a "how to do: wrist shot for kids"... I definitely don't think this was made for older people. I sort of tuck the blade of my stick around the puck and just release with a nice snap of the wrist. I manage to get them pretty fast.

This guy is absolutely clueless on how to teach a proper wrist shot. Weight transfer from back to front is the cornerstone of a solid wrist shot. Proper wrist reversing or "snapping" as he reffered to it is a close second. Please dont use this as a real coach, you may get laughed off the ice. My 5 year old daughter can "lift" an orange street hockey ball better than this guy.

Use the "stick flex" by dragging stick on the "ice" before release shot.. and not only Wrists or you dont get good power its more like using the whole body actually.. Not only wrist. And get an real ice and puck. :D Sry about complain but..
