In this case I used the built in Mic from 5D mark II, far from ideal, but manageable. Note that the sound is a mix of an entire clip with camera fixed on a tripod, mixed with some small parts recorded later during recording session. Because I'm mixing different parts with one stable and continuous source, the result is acceptable. For this kind of work I really recommend an external mic and recorder in order to control the gain. In other situations I have clipping all the time (only use manual).
