Edge is using his blonde Telecaster in this video. There is no other sound like it. He does use a variety of guitars, but for what's needed in this tune the Tele is the best way to go. It has an incredibly bright and sharp sound. Gibson has their sound, Fender has theirs. Neither the twain shall meet!!

I judge bands by how they sound most important and that is live. U2 sounds outstanding, I felt energized throughout the song, the ending wasn't predictable. There is a reason why they sell so many records, its fan loyalty as a result of the bands quality, and devotion to their fans. That song sounded alot like their earlier works which made them a household name. I myself would buy a ticket and would buy the album.
