@ilikenothin dude...i'm saying the ESCAPE SPEED is greater than the speed of light....not the singularity it's self. And yes at the even horizon it's the escape speed is equal to the speed of light. Then once inside it's greater than the speed of light because once inside you hit the singularity and it bends all rules of this dimension leading scientist do believe in a 4th spatial dimension. Do you know know what escape speed is? That's what I'm saying...not speed of a black hole.

The masses don't seem right. Wouldn't the black hole just absorb whatever material was ejected in it's direction from the supernova?

the only way for a black hole to be "ejected" from a supernova is if the black hole was already there orbiting the dying star. Then at the time the star explodes it frees the black hole from its gravity pull and the black hole "ejects"

A black hole isn't a vacuum but a void of gravity; and gravity can only pull upon bodies which are in contact with it.

A black hole will usually be created and continue to consume all the "food" available to it until it runs out of immediate "food". At this point, the black hole stops being able to "eat" and becomes dormant. It can only consume what touches it.

actually its not possible that the black hole is ejected from the center of the supernova like that animation suggests.A black hole is created in the center of a supernova cause the forces of the explosion & gravity push matter inwards,there is no outward force there to eject it but only in the outer layers of the exploding star. If there was such a force in the center it would just eject all matter and would not even create a neutron star or white dwarf. that animation is totally incorrect
