The Crown Prosecution Service and Police have said this, they are non-partisan and there to enforce the law. Pete Townsend was given a caution, not prosecuted. If an operation is wrong and arresting innocent people would you continue it?

So it's just a matter of judging what comes close. I have no interest in the Church of England, and it wouldn't bother me if their land was nationalised.

Their economic policies are more left-wing than Labour's, and similar to old Labour, while their social policies are in line with traditional (pre-Cameron) Conservative Party. The Crown Prosecution Service and Police have said this, they are non-partisan and there to enforce the law. Pete Townsend was given a caution, not prosecuted. If an operation is wrong and arresting innocent people would you continue it?

The CPS and police are not impartial - they are subject to government policy, and are hired and fired by the Home Office.
