  • it happens every night your just asleep to experience it

  • If anyone has similiar experiences please visit sleep-paralysis (dot) net and write about your story Use the contact form on the page and we will post it in the case study section

  • Similiar feeling when it comes to the "restraints".

  • This usually happens when someone sleeps on their backs

  • @TheCasu305 thank you lol someone finally knows one of the causes haha

  • @kickflip246810 It's a typical one

  • I am pretty sure religion, being Wicca, a Christian or otherwise has nothing to do with this.I don't practice WITCHCRAFT, and pretty sure I am not going to convert and pray to God because of this, because i am afraid for a good 10 minutes. That's a weak excuse to start believing or having faith because you are scared. Not everyone is religious, so stop throwing your personal views and opinions on us.

  • omfg shut the hell up about demons and shit because thats not what is affecting you. It is a SLEEP DISORDER. My god, you guys.. are.. ugh.. I have to experience this shit alot. Its normal for me. It's just your mind hallucinating. Keep cool. The only way I get out of sleep paralysis is if I move atleast one of my fingers and i wake up :p

  • To me sleep paralysis is when I want to wake up but can't move a muscle!

  • 98 percent of these cases can be cured , simply by cutting out salt intake , Many people think they are paralysed but in fact their bodies are a sleep , Its their spiritual eye thats open and seeing things ! people will understand this if they just record themselfs when they are asleep

  • sleep paralysis is terrifying. first time i had it i thought i was paralysed from the neck down, then i saw E.T. come out of my closet.. scariest thing ever...

  • *sigh* I experience this everyday whenever Igo to sleep, I got used to it, just keep ton trying to move your body for a while and it will go away.

  • I GOT REAL EXPERIENCE ABOUT THIS! so one night i had a sleep paralysis and i was hallucinating. i saw a black cat by my window just 2 feet away from me and its eyes were glowing red and so many black kittens coming through my window. i was so freaked out i killed well not all of them. but then, the cat with glowing eyes started to fade but its eyes stayed and turned out it was my laptop in sleep mode. you know, those lights in front those battery and signal indicator

  • Sleep paralysis is the most annoying fucking thing in the world. I get this shit constantly. Hell, I wouldn't mind it if there wasn't a loud buzzing noise going off in my fucking ear when it happens. So I get up, move around a bit, and sure enough, it happens again and I have to stay up and I'm tired as hell, the entire day is ruined. Fuck sleep paralysis.

  • I 'wake up' and My body is frozen, unable to move more than my eyes, There is something above me, It is doing something to me, Psychically, I think it's taking something from me, energy maybe? It is sucking it out of me, I try to fight, scream, I can't. I feel this heavy weight on my chest & can hardly breathe, I couldn't breathe deep if I tried! It finishes what it's doing & leaves, I am left awake, terrified, weak & sick to my stomach, sometimes I throw up I can't believe it is psychosomatic

  • @greendaypic They are demons from the bible. They are afraid of Jesus of the bible and what he did on the cross. They are scared of his name. Repent of your sins, turn to him for forgiveness of your sins, and for protection. This is not normal. I have been a born again Christian for 15 years, and I sleep in peace. They are too afraid of my Lord God to mess with me, because I belong to him. There are far too many people discribing this occurance. You opened occultic doors to call them somehow.

  • @john146only Oh Please, give me a break will ya'....You so called Christians are always ready to shove your religion onto some one aren't you? For your information I celebrate the Wiccan faith, I worship Other Gods than you. Did you know that Christianity is one of the bloodiest & most violent religions throughout history? Often forcing others to convert to their religion or die? Have you ever studied the crusades? Or even here in America the Salem Witch trials? Keep it 2 yourself, Please....

  • @greendaypic So let me get this straight: You wake up with some sort of 'creature' being on top of you, YR UNABLE TO MOVE, SO you try to fight, scream and THEN YOU feel sick to your stomach, even to the point of throwing up at times. AND you practice wicca, which is explicitly forbidden in the bible, bc it is witchcraft,BUT you don't want to hear about how you could be helped by Jesus Christ TO BE FREE OF THEM? Are you kidding me? YOU ARE DRAWING THEM TO YOU THROUGH WITCHCRAFT! UR HARD HEADED!

  • @john146only HONEY, you may not 'believe' in the Christian devil, but he is sending his crownies to scare the hell out of you in the middle of the night and victimize you! You are drawing them to yourself bc you are not heeding the warnings in the bible about nothing practicing witchcraft and divination and so on, so you are causing open doors for the demonic to play with you. You are too hard headed to admit it, but that is what is going on. Next time they/it comes, cry out to Jesus Christ!

  • @Tommy92L I think pretty much any prayer in Christ's name will work. When it happened to me, I was so sure I was going to die that I didn't even bother asking God to save me from the evil, but rather to forgive my sins because I was sure I was about to meet Him.

  • @OneEyedJack1970 Yes! Ive prayed ever since and I havn't had it since. The scariest thing ever

  • yea your dream is YOUR private world, nobody elses. your private perspective on life and shapes, sounds, and people. thing is from your view point, thinks from your un real imagination, you know your dream, can actually come to your vision in reality. i woke up in a paralysis states and it was horrifying, i saw a black shadow on my shelf hanging on the wall. it was VERY small and it jumped off to the side of my bed. i didn't see it agagin. just imagine the feeling.

    this is a true story.

  • YOU CAN USE SLEEP PARALYSIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE, look it up, you can induce a lucid dream.

  • Huh.. This stuff has been happening to me now for about.. A year.. Somewhat "glad" that I'm not alone, well.. Not glad that it happens to others, but more in a sense that I'm not crazy.

  • do you guys know how to avoid a sleep paralysis? i dont want to experience it :(

  • @xxpinkstrawberriexxx I think some ways to avoid it is to refrain from being stressed or paranoid. Also, don't stay up for long periods of time, which would cause you to sleep in. Staying up for a long time would keep your body paralized, even after you woke up. If you do experience sleep paralysis, don't breathe in heavily, because you will just go into a deeper paralysis. I would recommend just holding your breath until you snap out of it.

  • @xxpinkstrawberriexxx I wouldnt know, but if you find out, let me know! ^_^

Thou, it's not as bad as this video depicts it.

If you really force yourself, you will be able to snap out of it.

I usually just try to grab hold to something, and resist, as I don't believe it's "paralysis", but more like being forced down, or pulled somewhere.

  • This video doesn't even begin to describe the terror. :/

  • its happened to me more than 20 times, sometimes u feel ure being abducted by some evil thing, as if ur soul was being ripped away lol. sometimes they arent that terrifyin but u still feel the presence of somebody just behind or next to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just had it last night and i felt like there was a vampire sat on top of me drinking my blood making me weaker and weaker:/

  • Well NO WONDER he's haunted...look at all that scary junk in his room!

  • ur video scared the hell out of me !!!!!!! u described it good

  • freddy krueger causes this ive heard

  • i have this everytime i fall asleep while laying on my back. i hate it. its like a reall life nightmare that you cant snap out of

  • @07GTIsociety me too... my body got use to it and now wake up instantly everytime iam laying on my back.... now i sleep with a lap or the tv and it has never happend to me again.

  • I've had this 3 times in the last hour. Is there medication they can give you or something.

  • @adamscott Sleep Paraylsis is a Natural occurance which happens everynight when we enter Dream Sleep (Rapid eye movment) The brain paraylises the body so it does not move when you dream. I personally love sleep paraylsis. I use it to lucid dream

  • You should understand the truth about experiences with Sleep Paralysis could have much to do with the spiritual realm. These are demonic forces alive in your life trying to take advantage of your vulnerable state of sleeping. If you would like more info about what I mean, I want to direct you to a video about this. It confirms EXACTLY what I'm telling you. Copy and paste it into the you tube browser. It's entitled "The Truth About Sleep Paralysis - How to Stop it - Treatment - Help - Causes"

  • @musikalfuture sleep paralysis is a hallucination, not satan deciding to give your brain a tickle

  • @teedonster there's always a scientific explanation for everything. But that's ok. Without it, one's faith may be futile, and meaningless. Everyone uses science to disprove one's faith, the Bible, spiritual forces, or even the existence of God, but the Bible, Faith and the existence of God justify the science.

  • @musikalfuture its a good outlook... even though its a scary one for those like me. Science is, in my opinion of course, a constant study of how God created.. well everything. So yes, perhaps these dreams are just more proof that the spiritual side of life is coexisting with our scientific explanations; however, whether sleep paralysis is a spiritual message in the form of a sleeping disorder or a sleeping disorder that causes spiritual hallucinations, is all in the eyes of the beholder.

  • IM NOT AFRAID FTA (f*** them all!!!) i was lying on my bed i was 7 and i went and laid on my moms bed obviously in a supined position i went sleep as so i'd thought i suddenly gained conciousness and realized i was falling asleep and i tried calling for my mom nothing came out i felt like i was spining and falling through the bed and was in what seemed as a dream it was like a video game i had control and when i realized i was asleep i woke to see my mom i told her but then i woke again wierd

  • IM NOT AFRAID FTA (f*** them all!!!) i was lying on my bed i was 7 and i went and laid on my moms bed obviously in a supined position i went sleep as so i'd thought i suddenly gained conciousness and realized i was falling asleep and i tried calling for my mom nothing came out i felt like i was spining and falling through the bed and was in what seemed as a dream it was like a video game i had control and when i realized i was asleep i woke to see my mom i told her but then i woke again O_O

  • I go through this twice a month and two nights ago i experienced it 5 times before I actually got to sleep properly...

  • this happened to me around november 2010... i will never forget it. it felt like i was screaming at the top of my lungs but my parents didnt even hear me.

  • I was getting the chills watching this. I have had more sleep paralysis episodes than I care to remember. I have had things touch me, have sex with me, I have had objects like knives hanging over my head, buzzsaws buzzing in my periphial vision. It was just absolutely frightening, although the sex was good. All joking aside, I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy.

  • just move your fingers, then your arms. you wake up instintaly:)

  • its great to see people encounter new and interesting experiences with superstition and ignorance.

  • Freaky monster guy: aww it's so cute when it's sleeping :D

    Dude: *wakes up* O_O

Monster: Uhoh it's awake! YOU MUST DIE!

I'm sorry that's just horrible, but I couldn't resist. XD

  • @TheSnowyice thats not funny >:

  • @DrakullKrauser Sorry, i've just had this all my life, so instead of being terrified of it that's just my way of looking on the bright side I guess. Didn't mean to offend.

  • Is it possible to have experienced this without knowing?

  • @reeness09 I guess it could be possible. Maybe one could have sp after waking up and be so tired that they fall asleep again and forget it happened.

  • @reeness09 No, if you've ever had this you will definitely not forget it.

  • @reeness09 no way i experienced this nearly 3 years ago and still remember every little last bit

  • its noyhing to do with religion and stuff, u say that u say the lords prayer but when u say it your really calm so you have to calm down to actually wake up thats what i do

  • One of the causes of sleep paralysis is sleeping on your back.

  • Ok its when u wake up without being able to move sometimes like an wich or an old hag is putting pressure on u plz rate :)

  • what does it feellike to have sleep paralysis? What do people dream about?

  • @SuperKare123 It's not really dreams, but hallusinations. It can be terrifying for most. I personally don't see creepy things, at least not that often. For me it is actually a somewhat enjoyable experience. I guess it just depends on how you look at it and what you believe to be real. I am not in any way religiouse and I don't see any weird, scary demons, while a religiouse person typically sees demons, angles, ect. It's all in the mind basically and varies from person to person. :-)

  • @SuperKare123 Its like an demonic presence in your room...but its all in your head even though sometimes I wonder maybe its real.

  • this happened to me once when i was stationed in ft. bennin back in 2005 and i felt the pressence of something really negative but never talked about it thinking that people were going to question my mental health. good to get to know what sleep paralisis really is.

  • Once in a bluemoon I'll be in my bed asleep on my back..as I'm waking up i feel like something is heavy on my chest area..when i try to speak..i sound like i am moaning..in a I'm scared of something way..this does not happen often..but what is this?..i catch myself doing this as I'm waking up..i don't remember any bad dreams attach to this..thanxs from Barbara

  • fuck damn it.. i have this shit.. but i never saw something diabolic ...actually wheen this happens to me i realize that im paralyzed but now seeing this video.. im scared to sleep... -.-

  • my opinion is that the brain tends to 'justify' our experiences and that's why we get to see things. like if you're scared when you're awake...at least you can consciously justify if there's a reason to be scared (for which, if there's none, that feeling goes away...unless it's a panic attack). but when you're asleep, your subconscious takes over and cause those images to be seen and heard so that you will have a justification or cause to such feelings or emotions

  • I had a sleep paralysis a few days ago, what I was a zombie clown like the one from Twisted Metal... but worse. Horrible view.

  • Last time I had it I think I saw 7 people in dark cloaks or osmething I was trying to tell them to tell me who they were obviously couldnt thoe.

  • @MichaelYanke85 Thats exactly the same thing I see. I always see a man in a dark cloak and wide brimmed hat. much like the silhouette of The Undertaker(the wrestler).. I've always called him the "shadow man" I haven't ever seen multiple ones, though there is always a woman with him, she looks like the woman from The Ring although I can't ever make out features.. she never jumps on me like many people seem to experience, she just stands in a dark corner and stares at me. I always hear voices too.

  • Yesterday it was about midnight and my brother was watching TV, I was having a dream where I was walking in the streets and lots of people were leaving town for some unknown reason, looked like there was a pest. In my dream I went to my house and no one was there, that's when I was about to wake up but I realized there was a chimpanzee on my back and I could see it out of the dream but I couldn't move, so I began to pray but my lips could barely move and I couldn't wake up until my brother came

  • on paralysis I see destroyed samara morgan (the ring) ;( there was not nice.. from fear I was felt as if I died

  • @19SoUrCe20 omg, i always saw the girl from the ring in my sleep paralysis... was horrible

  • I used to get these ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME when I was a teenager. I thought I was going insane. Now in my 20's this happens rarely, but are more violent than the ones when I was younger. Once I felt like there was an irate invisible entity in my room and pressing me so hard into the bed I thought my head and ribs would splinter. Last time a "Ring" type of girl crawled into my bed, sat on my chest and started to choke me. I envy my brother's SP, he just sees family members doing something weird.

  • Sleep paralysis feels so bizarre but kind of fun some times if you don't let it scare you. Still though when a panic attack hits it can be really hard to fight it and calm down. Most of the time I will try to move and force myself awake as an immediate reaction to it but other times I fall back asleep. ;-)

  • im 14 and i just experienced this yesterday and i dont think ive been so scared in my life! i couldnt move, i couldnt talk and i heard this strange sound like a demon so i tried thinking happy thoughts but that didnt work so i tried as hard as i could to move my toes and i did and i got unparalyzed immideatly and ran to the living room in panic

  • @arbiterjei Don't worry. This may happen occasionally for the average person. I've had this all my life and I'm 16 now. Just remember that what you see isn't real but your dreaming mind still active while you're awake. I don't dream very often during sleep paralysis although I do have very lucid and sometimes extremely crazy, weird dreams. XD Anyway one time I did dream during paralysis that I was tied to my bed and couldn't move a muscle. Then I saw someone with a black cloak and scythe. Scary.

  • @arbiterjei Oh and there was this one time when I was 7 and I saw my mom with a darth vader helmet on and a light saber. I was like wtf??? XD Haha but I got really scared though. :-(

  • Maybe if you take all that creapy stuff out your room u won't get the sleep paralyis maybe! Everytime i got it i feel pure evil trying to get me or get in me or smthin and im awake sometimes i hear sounds once i heard evil laughing

  • please answer!!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE Do you get it more often when you didnt sleep well lately or didnt sleep much lately?

  • Comment ment for another video like this, so forget the last part...

  • I had this for many years, i was wery spooked by it, cause, felt like an evil person grabbed my and hold me down hard. Its like my girlfriend can´t hear me, cause im like in another world... Only had it one time this year... Hint: If you got it and do not like it, Just fight as hard as you can, an it will disapear faster... It scarres me everytime, but somehow, it gives me an adrenalin rush. This video, is not that interresting, cause there is no fear in it, and i can´t see any attack. Thanks.

  • I just started getting sleep paralysis about a few months ago. The first time it happened to me was the most terrifying feeling Ive ever felt. I was in the middle of a dream, then i thought i woke up. The first thought that came to my head was i fell asleep in my boyfriend's house, and he was hugging me tight. but then i realized it was not who i thought it was. I felt as if i was being hugged , while i head a mans laughter and heavy breathing in my right ear. Scariest moment of my life.

  • hello my name is Francisco and I suffer from sleep paralysis, every time I have

an attack I shall go into a panic but after noticing what he is

I do much strength to let go.

For some time I have no attack, and I thank God for that

here is an advice not to panic to try to disengage.

The attack on me almost choked

  • Is this why you can't scream in dreams?

  • @Sk8Noone actually u can it just depends on how u are like me if i have bad dreams i can just open my eyes randomly i belive their is paranormal activity ive seen them i was scared before butt now its just like u see them dont react just look somewhere else

  • the truth is.. you'll never know how terrifying it is until it happens to you.

  • @TheJesterRace00 wel said .

  • @TheJesterRace00 Stop being scared of it and learn how to relax when it happens instead of trying to fight your way awake, this has been happening to me or like 13 years and ive learned how to make myself go back to sleep and not panic and i wake up like 5 minutes later.... i think people just get scared and overreact so since their mind is half asleep already its like their dreaming wile awake kinda and their already scared so u do the math

  • @TheJesterRace00 Completely agree :))

  • @TheJesterRace00 exactly

  • I have sleep paralysis often, some times i had daemon and scary visions.

Now i've learned how to deal with it.

If I try to force myself out of that mind awaken / body sleeping condition the sense of fear increase and while the fear increase the scary oniric visions increase.

The only thing to do is relax. Relax all body and mind... triyng to get all of you again sleeping.

This is to me the only way to handle sleep paralisys

  • @majakowsy Lol I have it too, but if I see a demon lol I'd grab my cross and say YOU LIED! lol If you're a Christian educated in the bible you'd get the joke lol =P

  • This was surprisingly stupid.

  • I dont suffer with sleep paralysis as such but a while back something really freaky happened one night, i was woken from sleep feeling a dead weight on my chest, it took me all my strength (coming out of sleep) to try and shake off whatever it was on top of me all the time trying to say something but felt i couldn't, when i eventually opened my eyes and woke i saw a green horrible thing on my chest with large red eyes staring at me, i screamed GET OFF and it vanished it was as scary as hell.

  • I started to get it every other night for about two months and now its stopped. I looked at how it happens and I was falling asleep on my back because of watching TV. I don't get the old hag but the music I hear, the voices and screams, and the feeling of something in the room is terrifying. I would advice to go to bed at relatively the same time and to sleep on your front. Reguardless if you do this some people it only happens once, some people just cann't get rid of it.

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV i think i might have a not so bad version of sleep paralysis. i wake up and hear things but i cant open my eyes. everybody with sleep paralysis has their eyes opened while haveing an encounter but i dont is it still sleep paralysis is am i misundertanding it as something else

  • @SHiZiN69ONU Sounds similar to me except my eyes must be open because I can see in my bedroom. I'm aware I'm awake and yet dreaming but can't move. I not seen anything though. I just get the voices and feeling that someone is crawling on the bed. That's scary enough.

  • @SHiZiN69ONU i get SP since the age of 12(ish) and ive NEVER been able to open my eyes.ive NEVER heard anything strange either.my last episode a few weeks bk was alot different that usual tho.i tought i woke from an earthquake as my bed was shaking (found out the next day there was none.just part of my SP)then i realised i cant move which wouldnt be a big deal if i hadnt been laying on my side!!usualy i only get SP when layin on my back.so im guessin there might be different "levels" of SP ??!

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV 12/15/2010 around 11am. I wanted to take a nap bc I had got up early this morning. I slept? until about 1:30PM and I guess you could say my brain woke up, but body didnt. I couldnt move, talk, or even open my eyes. I heard a penny drop on a tile floor. (my room has carpet) Then I heard nails scraping along my wall. I could feel someone right in front of my face breathing. Like 1 m.m. more and they would have been touching my nose.

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV ................... I could barely breath and my heart was racing. I started to get that paranoid feeling inside. At first I figured it was my cat coming to lay with me, but the thought of something else still scared me. When it was getting to the point I couldn't stand it anymore I finally opened my eyes and sat up quickly! My cat was no where in site. Thus, the reason why I am researching this :)

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV I had a real bad episode of sleep paralysis in 1993. I was on my stomach/left side. A presence walked into my room. I heard a low buzzing sound in my ear and warmth. I started to get scared until I realized I couldn't move. Then I got angry and angrier at the entity in the room to where I found the strength to push myself up off the bed, but a hard force hit the middle of my back and slammed me back down. At that point I said the Lord's Prayer and I felt the entity walk out.

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV sleep on your stomach, you wont get it....i cant sleep on my back anymore, i get it all the time if i do, same with sleeping on my side

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV

I just had sleep paralysis for the second time last night and i said the lords prayer and came out of it too.

i had no idea ayone else had the same thing.

  • @KittehLily I've had SP my whole life, though not all the time like many people.. I'll be there first to admit that I'm not exactly a religious person, and I'm not really sure whether or not to believe in the whole Christian thing.( I'm not saying don't of course, to each his/her own) but i will say that every time I've said Jesus' name during SP, it always, always seems to make it stop instantly... kinda makes one wonder whether SP is a spiritual thing as opposed to scientific....

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV the reason why that works is because it takes a few moments to recite the lord's prayer. That's all it takes to come out of SP ... a few moments of calm patience. I experience it regularly too ... and I come out of SP just fine by waiting a moment or two, even without invoking a god, a son of a god, the spirit of a god or any other superstitious entity.

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV thats because it probably takes the same amount of time for the hormones that paralyze you to wear off. its nothing to do with demons or whatever.

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV wat is the lords prayer

  • @Kimbo30522 Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

  • @Kimbo30522 Or you could say "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." Just keep in mind that these words are no use if you have little to no faith.

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV Sigh... I jolt myself asleep but saying some mythical-like words may work too, I suppose...

  • @BlaineKavanaghTV you are really stupid.

  • @xp0staldudex I completly agree, he is hyst a dumby religious, if he can't move his mouth then he can't pray, and pray are words, i mean Sleep Paralysis is supposed to be the demon ''night mare'' but i think it is part of the human.

  • Nicely Done!

  • i completely agree i used to get sleep paralysis all the time specially when ages 10-12 now i am 14 but i do still get them i would get them like 18 times a month and now i get it 3 times most at month so i do that i just close my eyes and relax and then start with the fingers once i move it its all done its all in our head u just got to communicate with it and not panic plz really pay attention to what i say here it would help you a lot it always does to me and i can even make myself get them

  • @illegalmonkey ahahah that was hella funny, but yeah this happens to me a lot its scary

  • i only have sleep paralysis when i'm sick.

  • :D haha. I have to admit the music creep me out

  • Astro, I've had it for years and experience it on a regular basis.

  • i agree illegalmonkey.

  • lol

  • this video is fucking creepy, well done

  • i had it once when i woke from a dream of a barking dog outside my open window which is a foot and a half of the ground when i woke up i couldnt move at all and i heard something outside moving the plants and my wooden louvers right next to me .couldnt move for minute while something was right near my head. scaryist shit ever !

  • hey everyone I created a facebook group page Sleep Paralysis Phenomena. It's new, join it if you want to share your experience during sleep paralysis.

  • Wow, that was... Fucking retarded?

  • sleep paralysis happens to me when i wake up in the middle of the night, or maybe in the morning, & turn around in another sleeping position to be more comfortable, & then i feel some sort of trance come over me & i feel a heavy weight on me & i can't move at all. but strangely i can move my toes. xD i had sleep paralysis for the 3rd time last night, i hate it.

  • You scared the shit outta me

  • people i know how you can get rid of this all you need to do is smoke a little bit of weed before you go to bed it help me alot i dont have to smoke weed to go to bed anymore just do it for a little while it help me alot trust me it works

  • @TheDani3lShow AHAHAHAAHAAH THIS MADE MY DAY !!! ROFL

  • @astromaks i have sp every night. i've been working on controlling it and manipulating it so that it won't be as traumatic, but its a very intense thing to try and do. do you have any advice??

  • @Jabers24 You should consider seeing a neurologist. Sleep paralysis is one of a few symptoms of narcolepsy, especially when experienced so regularly. It occurs when the brain wakes up during REM sleep, though during REM sleep you are normally paralyzed, you just don't know it because you're asleep. There are some treatments out there for it.

  • @astromaks because it's the most horrible thing in the universe I feel like I am drowning when it happens and it's scary

  • Comment removed

  • @astromaks I know that but it's still frightening

  • @astromaks It has nothing to do with testing your fear of death. It's related to your brain function during REM sleep. It is something that people shouldn't be experiencing regularly, and if you do, you should see a doctor. There are ways to treat it.

  • buen video

  • Mine is weird, i woke up can't move anything eyes head and body but i shook my head very fast and something appears in front me like SHIT!!!

  • @nicohoot2007 i know right! it's not like i can't move but i can also see something in my room when i shake myself out of it..sometimes i can feel it comming but i get so tired ( it's like if you take like 4 sleeping pills sleepy) i fall asleep then it happends..i wanna know why it happends.

  • So do u also have all of those cool but creepy ass objects hanging on your wall along with playing creepy music to help the mood?

  • I experienced this many times, once when i was 6, couple times when i was 13 and 2 times when i was 14. I never saw a demon, it's basically your bad dream that makes you experience this. You don't see a demon or a devil, it's what you think you see in your dream, and when you wake up, it's scary because you try to scream or talk, but you can't. And you try to move but you can't either, the best technique is to go back to sleep. you save yourself the struggle.

  • @manoman12354 everytime i wake up in sleep paralysis. i fall back to sleep mostly

  • @manoman12354 i would just go back to sleep but its the nightmare im scared of

  • hahahaha stupid vid

  • you gotta experience this to understand i think! people have visions of demons hovering over them and such whilst they are suffering from a sleep paralysis attack... and it freaks the shit out of them cause they are unable to move any part of their body, your heart races extremely fast and you really do feel like your on your way out.

  • dummy your not going to die???? and theyres only demons and all that other crap if you make yourself think about it and "pretend to see it" were you about to have an obe???when im in sleep paralysis i usually get an obe and eventually will choose to go back in. if you hear noises and shit and paralysis then you are definately on the verge of an obe and heres the cool part.... YOU FLOAT OUT OF YOUR BODY AND ABLE TO WATCH YOURSELF SLEEP!!!!!... so calm the fuck down.. and relax

  • Demons?? LOL :P really guys. Sleep Paralysis isnt common but its not dangerous or anything. It still freaks the crap out of me but I think its my fault it started. I tried ( and Succeded in ) Lucid dreaming and I think its messed me up. now i get stuck for like 20 secs

  • Happened to me last night for the first time. The first time it happened I think I was having a panic attack. It happened about 3 more times after the first time, and I was able to get control after about 20-45 seconds I think. I always had like a buzzing sensation and my ears were ringing, it was very strange and I hope it doesn't happen again.

  • And I'm not narcoleptic, I get sleep paralysis occasionally when I take naps. Once I learned what it was I was able to manipulate the hallucinations and talk myself out of it.

  • Stop it with the demon nonsense people. Your body is paralyzed during REM. Sleep paralysis occurs when your brain is no longer in REM but your body remains catatonic.

In one episode I hallucinated Mr. Clean raped me. Is it a Mr. Clean demon?

It's not "western society's evil science". It's just a fucking medical fact. Get the fuck over it.

  • Yea it's very easy for someone to immediately blame something they can't understand on evil and dark forces, that's how the believers brain usually works. A scientist would not agree with the first thought that passes his mind, but the result of documentation and experimenting.

  • @kimjuszczak yeah tell 40 U.S Marines that when they witnessed an attack on me

  • So they "saw" this demon in the middle of the night, most likely in total darkness? It's called a collective hallucination. It's a well documented phenomena in which groups of people hallucinate something very similar.

And PS - throwing the word "US Marines" in front of a sentence doesn't add legitimacy to anything. The marines I knew were the ones that nearly flunked out of High School due to excessive alcohol/drug use.

  • lol u people make me laugh if one person sees it well ur seeing things and if a bunch of people see the exact same thing well everyone is seeing things lol u wouldn't know the truth if it bit u on the ass lol and p,s dont use fancy words in an attempt to give yourself credibility. Oh and i would like to add all the barrack lights were on when they saw it so fuck u very much your brainless egghead

  • @ostormbringero

Sorry dude, just because a couple of high school drop outs claim they saw a demon doesn't mean it was a demon . Hundreds of people claimed they saw a missle hit the WTC even though we have fucking video evidence it was a Boing 757.

We have evidence of sleep paralysis (via sleep labs etc). So sir, it is YOU who wouldn't know the truth if it fucking bit your sorry ass.

And spelling out the word "you" isn't fancy speak retard, it's called English.

  • Sorry? Ok so its like this if YOUR not convinced then its not real even though u weren't there. Omg u r one arrogant little ass LOL!!! I wouldn't know the truth!!!! lol listen here u little shit house shrink dont u tell me whats real and whats not u weren't there i was and so were 40 marines .Btw miss im full of myself u have to be at least a high school grad to get into the marine corps. Your profession just keeps getting dumber and dumber

  • My profession? Oh right, since I use "big fancy words" and have a passing knowledge of brain physiology I must be a shrink! Learn what a psychologist and a psychiatrist is before you go off. Which, btw, I'm neither.

Once again, I'm not convinced of your little story because we FUCKING KNOW WHAT SLEEP PARALYSIS IS. It's not magic, dumbass. Again, people say they saw a missile hit the WTC. Should I believe them just because a bunch of people say they saw it? Or should I trust evidence?

  • And I wouldn't have gone off on the country's brainwashed hired killers if your type didn't think using the word "US MARINE" made something more valid. Like training to kill people somehow makes everything you say gold. The marines I knew were the kids who weren't going anywhere. IE easy pickins for recruiters.

The "dying for your freedom" line (which always makes its way into these talks) doesn't phase me because your comrades haven't died for "freedom" in a loooonnngg time.

  • Your a piece of work. Your just afraid of the unknown and ull use anything to cling to ur narrow views of the world. In short if its not in ur little tiny book of knowledge then it doesnt exist lol

  • @ostormbring

I'm not afraid buddy. I just know what sleep paralysis is, and you arguing with me over it is pretty much the most ridiculous thing I've encountered in a while. It's a PROVEN SCIENTIFIC FACT. What more do you need. What else can I say but "I WAS RAPED BY MR. CLEAN" during sleep paralysis. Your mind MAKES THIS SHIT UP. It's sort of ironic that say "little book of knowledge" when you're likely a Christian who derives most of their beliefs from a 2,000 year old book of bullshit.

  • I paniced and woke myself up after about what felt like a minute with no heartbeat. Scary but it was my own fault, and hey! Maybe it didn't stop, maybe I had actually acheived projection and my mind wasn't in my body anymore - meaning that my hand could no longer feel the beat. Maybe my heart was beating the full time - either way, interesting and my study's will continue ( shit I sound like a scientist, maybe I should stop ).

  • All I know is that when you sink into sleep paralysis (and by sink in I mean try to go further to sleep) there IS a weird buzzing noise that is really painful and loud. Everytime this happens -I have been exp' by the way lol- I freak out and try to wake myself up.. which takes time. One time I was lying on top of my hand, which was around my heart and could feel it beating. Then the BUZZING started and I made myself sink deeper, my heart was pounding, racing ever faster until... the beat stopped

  • why are they trying to make it so scary. This is nothing. alright when you first have it your afraid obviously but once you understand it isn't that bad. Of course there are extreme cases. Logically 'they' say this is the brains response to prevent you from sleep walking and hurting yourself - almost a sleep walk alarm. Spiritually its what they call a trance - crossing over to the other side. Related to OBE. If you decide to go deeper, just be careful - that buzzing can get pretty loud lol.

  • What is OBE

  • Out of Body Experience - you know, like a spiritual manifestation of you that can walk in the spiritual plain. An astral projection of yourself. There are two types of plane the etheric 'a version of this world' and serveral layers of astral plane involving demons and the such. Personally I don't know what to believe but the fantasy within me jumps to the latter lol.

  • I believe I have experienced this before.... a few times actually. I kind of wake up, like half asleep, I can sort of see my surroundings, and i can't move my fingers... I remember once talking to myself but i couldn't do it properly.. weird stuff. kinda scary to be honest
