  • Comment removed

  • i like the sargents face at 2:32

  • The game is an insult to Germany!

  • @GTAFAN03 get offer it. It's just a game.

  • @GTAFAN03 And you are the same nazi bitch from those on Wolfenstein 3D

  • @dobrenarcisflorin91 Nazi?

no! just because I'm German? War is Shit!!!!!!!!!!! and I´m NOT A NAZI!!!!!!!!!!!

    GOT IT?

  • @GTAFAN03 Shut Up.

  • @dobrenarcisflorin91 why should I?

  • @GTAFAN03 Because you are just a german bitch who just try to play awesome.

  • @dobrenarcisflorin91 You have no idea, I'm not a Nazi, I hate war

  • @dobrenarcisflorin91 Just Shut Up Okay?

I hate you because you are a german and i hate your damn country.

  • @GTAFAN03 RAUS RAUS

  • This version is certainly better than the MAC and DOS versions. Sound effects, graphics, enemies and music is 3x's better.

  • PC version pisses all over this.

  • @Gggmanlives Why? And Gggmanlives says: Because i am an asshole and all i can do is trolling and sucking stinky dicks and licking assholes full of shit.

  • What the hell it looks to much like doom in certain aspects

  • @JJdoomkiller Well it is by the same company.

  • at least in this version you can understand what the guards say,,, achtung!

  • I like this version better than the Playstation 3 port.

No, I'm not a Atari fanboy, I really just think this version looks better.

  • Best console port of Wolfenstein 3D imho.

  • I always hated shooting the dogs.

  • why it has doom weapons?

  • @MIGUELBALUYUT

Wolfenstein 3D came out before Doom.

  • @ARTICWARFARE2200 Uhmmm Dude Wolfenstein 3D For Jaguar Was Released In 1995 While Doom Was Released In 1993 And Doom II In 1994

  • @MIGUELBALUYUT

I was talking about the original release of Wolfenstein 3D. The Jaguar port did come after Doom, but in original release, it beat Doom by about a year.

  • When the guys die it actually sounds like Jerry Lawler.

  • Is bj so badass that he kills the doom marine and takes his pistol? lolll

  • Just because the sprite creator uses a similar style for the pistol in this port of wolf3d as he did in doom doesn't mean its the same pistol. -_-

  • lol doom pistol!

  • in my opinion, the mac version was the best. the mac version has the best sound and music as well as graphics.

    wolfenstein 3d 4evr

  • Where have i seen that pistol before...

  • @blobface007 Doom

  • Best version ever made on any system .Pity it was the only good game apart from Tempest 2000

  • @superzapper There was more good games on the Jag then what you listed....Iron Soldier...Doom (better than most console versions) ....Battlemorph....Super Burnout........Alien Vs Predator......Cannon Fodder.........Bubsy FFT...........Zool 2.........Skyhammer..............Defender 2000

The system had some good games but didn't live up to the 64 Bit moniker.

  • @ViciousAlienKlown Cannon Fodder is a straight port of the Amiga game.Zool 2 is a port of the Sega Genesis Game and Bubsy is the same as the SNES version and all those games ran on the 6800 chipset and never used the Jaguars main CPU's and were no better than versions made years before.Skyhammer was so rare no one could buy it. I`ll agree with you on Iron Soldier and Super Burnout but they were still very limited games that looked rushed and unfinished .

  • What does 'mein lamen!' mean in german?

  • @theheadshot45 I think they say "Mein Leben" which translates to "my life"

  • @theheadshot45 "mein lamen"! in german means " MY LIFE"...because he just got owned!

  • I always thought their deaths sounded funny in this port. Sounds like they slip on a banana peel.

  • I love this game and still play it!

  • This port of wolfenstein 3d rocks. I should ask this console and game for cristmas and play it insted of watching videos of people that have this game playing through levels. Even though i'm kind of scaird of the bloody face (when you loose your helth) from the first wolfenstein. But I don't care since I think this port is awesome!

  • wow this is a amazing wolfenstein :O

  • I still have the jaguar

  • one of my favourite 1st person shooters, wish it was released on ps1 tho :(

  • The only downfall of this version (a few versions for other platforms as well) was that the people was always facing you. the PC version of the game the people could be seen from the rear and the sides. but yeah the GFX in this version was the best by far. the only thing that sort of killed it was the above fact.

  • I've always loved this version of Wolfenstein, thanks for uploading. Really takes me back !

  • lol at the beretta m9 in world war 2.

  • THE best is still pc

  • @ZSaberToothTigerZ this is better than pc one!!! play it!!!

  • The PC version was best as far as gameplay goes.

Sure, the mac/jag versions have updated sprites, but the thing is, they aren't 3D, so the enemies always face you, and also due to so, will have unfair shots around a cornor due to the sprite always haveing to face your direction.

  • @yellowmadness54

yeah but the PC version was sprites as well. but that version of the game the guys could walk away from you with their back turned or walk in front of you with their sides toward you.

  • the best version in my opinion his the one available on ps3 for download really good graphics

  • looks like doom64 on n64

  • to bad they still dont have texture on the floors and sellings in this one

  • the faces are better in this one with no crappy faces like the 32x version

  • there isnt a 32x version

  • oh i always forget

  • Why do the enemies say "abdul!" when they see you?:D

  • they say Achtung

  • ... which is "attention!" in German.

  • this has the best graphics but i prefer the 3do version because it has all the pc and all the console levels. but this is still a very good port.

  • This version is great because it includes the rocket launcher from DOOM.

  • i agree with you but this guy like he belives me that they trying to port doom on to the jaguar and i would play the 3do and mac instead of this

  • It actually looks 10 times better than the PC version. Its less pixelated and it shows the sprite scaling capabilities of the Jaguar.

  • Looks very nice, running smoothly indeed for such a detailed 3D game. This is actually the first Wolfenstein 3D I've seen. I instead own Blake Stone:Aliens of Gold(PC),which I guess recycled Wolf 3D's game engine.

And hey! A Jaguar game with music! I'm coming to learn that that's not something Jag fans saw every day.

  • compare this to a 3do console 3do tops it and aswell as macintosh

  • In what ways are they superior?

I'm looking at a 3DO youtube video and not seeing much of a difference.

  • with the 3do the controls are different as well as mac they just look the same but different music. 3do has 90 levels including 60 levels on the PC

but with this one i reckon that it is reasonable game but they doign this to see if they can port doom to jaguar thats why they put doom sprites to make it like doom looks

  • Do you have a source to your claim that they put this on the Jaguar to see if they could do Doom on it?

Both the 3DO & Jaguar versions of W3D had the 64x64 sprites replaced with 128x128 px ones.

Granted, it appears the Jag version has 60 levels. I'm guessing that had to do with the cart memory limitations. Also, the Jag version has more of the screen showing, since they did away with the clunky status bar.

id did the Jag port and it also seems like the weapons are bigger.

  • @viMasterJag Funny thing about the weapons is, they're mostly pulled from Doom. Guess they were just THAT excited to be putting Doom on Jaguar that it bled out into Wolfenstein.

  • @RobStoj69 The original programmer did the port of Doom on the Jaguar, John Carmack. Thats one of the reasons why its one of the best comsole version out. I don't see much of a diiference between the Jag version of Wolf 3D and the PC.

  • @RobStoj69 30 console levels and 60 PC levels so thats a total of 90 levels that 3DO have but doom on 3DO was horrible :(

  • @killkenny5000 so true i didnt enjoy Doom on the 3DO and on Jaguar but enjoying Wolfenstein 3D on jaguar and also on 3DO and aswell Macintosh also has 90 Levels too

  • @RobStoj69 yup the 3DO and the MAC versions are the same one but different music

i kinda like the music in 3DO better than mac

  • @killkenny5000 Agreed 3DO is the best port of all.

  • @viMasterJag

here are the difference between the 3DO and atari jaguar version

atari jaguar version of wolf3d has best graphics than any port

3DO/mac versions is best versions the music is completely different than the other versions its way better and it has LOTS of MORE levels than the other versions over 90 levels

the PS3 and the 360 version only have 60 lvls and the rest of the versions have over 30 lvls

  • @viMasterJag what game systems are these on atari? i like the old wolfentein doom duke nukem but i dont know what system there on please respond...!

  • @viMasterJag the differences is the 3DO has 90 levels and awesome music but the jaguar has better graphics

  • wasn't this on teh SNES?????

  • Yes it was...

and it looked and played horrible compared to the Jaguar version.

This video doesn't do it justice -- I'll do another one in higher resolution so you can see the awesomeness of this port.

They improved the graphics and speed on it.

The SNES one blows compared to this.

  • honestly I think the jag or the 3DO are the best and as you said the snes 1 just stunk

  • Snes was 16bit, haquar is "64bit", and I'm not sure about 3DO, but I'm sure its 32bit, so theres really not point saying that jaquar version is better than snes, because snes is much less powerful than jaquar, but whatever

  • Man. nintendo must have had a broom up their asses if this one has enough guts to have Y.K.W. on the globe instead of that other logo on the SNES port AKA the "SUCK EDITION".

  • The music in this game is a bit basic and cheesy, but the game itself is a good conversion for the Atari Jaguar.

  • I did buy it used though .. many years ago... when out of town. Mayve that guy before me just played it to death? Happened to me with the original Zelda for NES back in the 80's.

If you have any info let me know. I'd rather not throw it away :(

  • Unfortunately I don't have any specific info in regards to that. I've never had it happen myself.

I would understand an NES game from the 80s, but this game was from '94 or '95.

It should have had something like 100,000 guaranteed writes.

  • i liked this video :)

    funny video lets chat cz

  • My copy doesn't save for some reason. I cleared the memory and it still won't save.

    I'm screwed aren't I ?

  • I hope not. I know there should be plenty of writes on the save game eprom.

  • lol that adolf hitler in the bigining XD

  • This game was really something back in '94 for obvious reasons.

  • God I miss this game. If you hold I think it was the * key while it's loading it opened up the music menu. Maybe it was the # button though, I can't really remember.

  • On the title screen, the Nazi that B.J. is kicking down is holding an M4A1 Carbine!!! :S

  • not the dog nooooooo!

  • Brings back so many memories!

  • The only thing bad about this game is the controls. You need L and R buttons on a game like this.

  • I wish the Gameboy Advance Wolfenstin 3-D look like this one. =(

  • why does he have the Doom pistol ?

  • yeah, and the Doom chaingun

  • Damn...those dogs move quickly...
