I love this man (me & millions of you love him)! Maxwell's learned from Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Teddy Pendergrass and Prince musically and vocally (and, in the case of Prince, also lyrically), but STILL he has a uniqueness that comes across as authentic. I've seen Prince knock a mic onto the stage, flex his body & simulate sex on the stage (I was too young to see Gaye, Green and Pendergrass do these things). But when Maxwell does it, he brings his own sexy energy. I would I were the stage! Ooh!

I brought Black summers the next day, July 8, 2009 and trust me, it was not a easy task. I was 90 minutes late going to work trying to find his CD, and when I did find it at a local Walmart in Maryland, There were only two left. I grabbed the very last one and I ran out of the store clutching my Maxwell CD, ran to my car, open it up and start jamming. I'm hardly ever late for work, but that day was sure worth it :-).
