that is truly a drag sled its my radar run sled right there. stock just lowered with 144 ice picks, different than studs but basically same im sure you all know though, and we did a little clutching and gearing to it. got it to 107.68 this year but were damn close to 110 last year. fastest one i've seen is 114 but that was someone else with diff. sled same year and whatnot

107.68 is awesome in 1000 ft. We had our radar runs the other day and my buddy on his 02 SRX stock trail class clocked in at 104.?? in the 1/4 mile. Good enough for 1st that day with the above freezing temps and 01 SRX jetting. My 01' SRX trail sled with long travel skid front and rear, risers and pre-studded hacksaw saw 98mph in the 1/4 with my 240lb frame on it. I missed having a real studded track that day and think I will buy one strickley for racing next year.

Ya for real. These Yamahas have dream-o-meters. I ran my SRX today in a 1/4 mile it was showing like 180kms on the speedo. On the gun it was 103 MPH. Big difference.

And for the idiots that diss other sleds maybe you should know that srx's had to have their power valve cables adjusted once a month if used for long periods. And is that why they switched to 4 strokes because they couldnt keep up.

I don't know about the 98's and 99's but my 01 and my buddys 02 have never had any problem with the power valves......come to think of it I have never had any mechanical problems with my SRX......one day these sleds will be collector items like the old 440 srx's of the late 70's.....and let me tell you something sleds don't get a reputation like that for not being able to keep up or having mechanical failure...they got there reputation for being crazy fast and having rock solid durability

i race radar runs an srx 700 and an apex. we have them both lowered with and they both have 144 icepicks, same brand, everything else is stock just tuning and clutching for radar. the srx went 107.68 this year, we've had faster but its gettin tired, and the apex went 105.34 this year so far, its in 1000 feet. so yeah a srx will give a napex a run for it smoney haha

Polaris fucking rocks. I have a 03 Pro X 440 Liquid factory race sled. It was never on production. And its only a 2 cylinder. And it pulls from like 0-35 just as hard as my dads Apex GT. And it handles moguls better than any other sled ive EVER rode. The pro x chassis is awesome.
