all of my best friends have CIS and i love them signing and i heard their hearing support teacher say that songs were harder but thank you sooo much :)
I am an American sign language student. Watching you spell the names with the two handed alphabet is amazing to me. I started learning bsl a while ago, but lost my tutor. =( You're excellent!
amazing!! absolutely fantastic! I am level 1 BSL and want to learn songs because I'm going to be a music therapist, and hoping to do this with deaf children!
Eleanor Rigby is a powerful song in it's own right. This BSL video makes it even more so. I'm starting to learn BSL in Sept 2008 and this video, along with others, show how much expression must also be used.
I don't really know much about sign but I do know that somehow you made the song twice as powerful - excellently done. You are a talented signer - at least, that's how it looks from where I'm sitting. Hope the RSI allows you to do at least a bit more of this one day...
Great video! I really love that song and really enjoyed your signed version. Good idea to be sat next to the window and incorporate that into your 'signing space' :-)
My major is ASL, and this is honestly the first time I've seen BSL signed. Watching you fingerspell Eleanor Rigby was a huge trip; I'm incredibly slow on BSL fingerspelling right now.
I really enjoy your interpretations of the songs. It's nice to see someone do more than just sign the words. I like how your personality seems to come through.
Great stuff! I was around in the 60s when this was a hit and it all comes back to me. As I am learning BSL it is nice to be able to follow some of it without looking up the lyrics. Thanks!
It's very interesting.. i don't really know sign language but i know the concept and thanks to YouTube i am getting a tiny bit accustomed to it. Watching you signing this song made the song sometimes too literal , too "silly" but in other parts it added extra meaning or made me realise the truth behind the words again that i forgot because the spokensung words had become TOO familiar, weird. And yes u r cute n sexy as well :)
I love this SO much, you are an icon, take a look at my channel :) sign ANY of my songs, because you are FAB xx
