could have been one of the all time greatest NC games. massive tradition, two powerhouse schools, a Heisman trophy winner, two solid QBs, two superb running backs, wide receivers everywhere, the Rose Bowl, COME ON. it makes me sad this game failed to live up to the hype after I waited so long for it. Especially since McCoy got injured the very first drive.

Each day, the UAT faithful (who by the way 95% have not either a) attended college any where or b) never attended UAT in Tuscaloser) should give thanks to a poster that should be on their wall above their bed of the great John McKay of USC who saved Bear's job at UAT by agreeing to play the Crimson Turds at Legion Field in September of 1970. Final score at that game was USC 42 and UAT 21.
