Since I have been playing this for 20 years in a local band, I know when and where fingers should be. The kid's fingering does not synchronize to the sound, together with the presence of the backup guitar which is good. pushing me conclude that he is not contributing to the band sound. That's why I am a little negative about the kid;s playing. He is already a good player for his age and I can see the potential though.
