  • Killer lesson! It was a lot of fun learning this!!

  • That back finger control is interesting. Gavin Harrison explains in one of his clinics (can be found on youtube) he does his ghost notes with the back fingers. Probably it's the same thing you explained.

  • parts 1 and 2 are just great videos. The B. Greb shuffle is a great exercise to work on coordination. I try to exagerate the motions of my limbs to get this groove clean and dynamically. You are a great drummer and teacher and I like your videos.

  • great vid joe do you know much about 16th note high hat funky pattern? there is one which all the motown drummers used its incredably funky with accents cud u possibly teach it? its on the record of the temptations a song called cloudcloud nine
