Are OLY lifters often successful into their mid 30's? When do they usually taper off? What I'm getting at is; how many more years does a lifter like pat have to develop in terms of oly competitions?
yeah great work! i am always impressed, when i see such performance in weight lifitng - how u control these heavy weights and bring them over your head - impressive.
i'm training in BB-style and these weights are as far away for me as the stars!
John, I've never been so excited about lifting again as I am now...since yesterday I've spent all my time learning everything I could find online about your methods and that of the Bulgarians so far...I applied that to my push presses today and on my 4th attempt at 315 I finally did it...actually I did 320 on my 5th attempt! UNBELIEVABLE, just from applying what I've learned from you in 24hours...I used to stop at 315 after missing the first attempt, never thinking to keep trying it...
@LayEmOut60 Bulgarians, under Ivan Abadzhiev, narrowed training to lots of heavy lifts, 6 days per week focusing mainly on full lifts of the snatch, c&j, and front squats.
very good!

@TheRugbyidiot world champions are usually in their early 20s. some are in late 20s, very few 30+ year olds have ever came close to winning

@BROZKNOWS I've seen lot of references to Bulgarians and their ways of training on your videos... What's that all about?

mate i think the last one is 205 not 195! three reds a side is 170 add two yellows at 15 a piece thats 200 and collars 205!
Myself0101 3 years ago
I know, but the 2nd attempt was 195 - same as the other video. Much better attempt here.
