I've noticed for me...that if you instantly use a carrot right at the beginning you and Ingo will be locked together for like the first few corners and then you can just keep using carrots to easily get ahead of him after that. Just make sure you keep 1-2 carrots so it doesnt take forever to get more.

Just mash A until you have one carrot left. Any time a new carrot pops up (ie, you have two carrots) press A again. If you use all six at once, it takes too long for it to recharge and you'll lose the race.

Complete the Forest Temple, go back to the Temple of Time, return to the past, find Malon in Lon Lon Ranch and learn the song from her, then return to the future and follow this video.

@Thegreennintendo I jut discovered a wy to get Epona on 3DS (maybe works on other versions too) :D

Since there is no way for me to win a race against a bad guy, I have tried to jump over the wall during the race, and escape with my horse :D But then I have noticed that the bad guy has just disappeared, and I just walked over finish line and won :D

Then I tried the same thing again in the next (harder) race, and he disappeared again, and I won :D

What a worthless reward for a challenging mini game. Either Epona refuses to jump or I get to the end at exactly 50 seconds and the reward for the nearly impossible feat is a cow that gives useless Lon Lon Milk? A fairy, which is way easier to get than milk from that cow if you have Minuet of Forest, is much more useful. I would rather have gotten 10 rupees than that cow for a reward...

Yes, though for the Master Quest, the dungeons are rearranged, and this includes the Gold Skulltulas within. The ones in the overworld will still be in the same locations however.

At one point he takes a pretty wide turn a little more than halfway through the race.

At that point just use all but one or two carrots just in case.

Use a carrot just as it appears before and after that point.

And near the finish line, use up all the rest.

Did you know that you could get the big goron sword right after you get epona? All you have to do is do the events to get the big goron sword plus beat the ice cavern before your suppose to.

If you go into gerudo fortress by using Epona, without the gerudo pass thing or the longshot, how do you get out of the room they throw you into?

I believe you only need the Hookshot to get out of the initial cell they throw you into. Either way, you can always save and restart to appear back in the Temple of Time.

you would be surprised how many times I lost to that jackass...But Here's the easy tip for the first race if you're stuck commenters...When the race begins, make damn sure your pointing in the direction you need to go, then when the gunshot is heard, instantly use a carrot to cut in front of him, and make sure you're ahead of him the whole time, 2nd race, go to the outside first, then try to cut in front of him when there's a corner, use up to 5 carrots each race, always keep one carrot

Yes, I recorded this on an emulator. Unfortunately, it emulates it very pixelated so I enabled anti-aliasing, which smoothes out edges. I turned it up as high as I could, so it made all the curves and such a little less jagged. I assume this is what you are referring to.

What is the differance bettween The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Master Quest?

Caleb ~ Nintendo released a special edition game disc for the GameCube console which had several of the earlier Zelda Games as well as some special games. One of them for example was Shadow Battle, in there were four Links in a 2d perspective duked it out with Zelda items. The Master Quest was also on this disc and changed only the dungeons to make them really hard, for veterans. The rest of the game was the same, it's just the dungeons that were changed.
