  • I know this is very very old, but wondering if when you do the gate glitch you're pushing towards it to get through? Half the time the mummies end up killing me before I glitch through the door

  • @lfoley03 Nope, you don't need to push any direction keys while being grabbed by the mummies. In fact it's especially important that you don't press left and right repeadedly to get rid off their grab sooner, as doing so would deny the glitch.

    And yeah, they deal a ton of damage, especially on higher difficulties, so you'd best bring a good stack of medipacks and try it on easy.

  • Do ANY of these glitches work on the ps2?

  • I don't know about these airwalks here, but the shortcut over the sphinx door and the grab glitch through the final door should definitely work. (I even discovered the latter one on the PS2). ;)

  • I can say from experience that every single one of the glitches you see in this level will work on the PS2, even all of the airwalking stuff. Almost all of the glitches that you see used on the PC will work on the PS2, although there are some exceptions; the major one that comes to mind is a left roll shortcut in the Coliseum, which was obsoleted once airwalk was discovered anyway. Hope that helps.

  • Great time, in the beginning i doubted TRA could be finished in less than an hour, but after seing your run i've realized that i was for sure mistaken, my best time was 1:09:22 on the PS2, anyway, i just can't wait to see the next segments.

    I was really excited when I saw the beginning of Natla's Mines. I know you'll do such a great job on those last three levels that I'm already hyper to see those - sadly - last segments of your run. 5*

    I never doubted you for a second that they won't be impressive ;). I think the chance that I'll be disappointed by YOU is very small.Basically, I'm so glad that you finally stopped your creative break of TRA, but then,looking at this in a melancholic way,you're suddenly done with the whole Egypt area and both Egypt and Greece went by fast to watch they were so great, probably not for you with all the long preparation, but it was truly awesome. You'll break all records!

  • Hmm, who knows, afterwards I'll maybe try some individual level runs of the areas that weren't featured very well in this run. ;)

    I won't promise though.

  • The moster pushed him into the wall, he already used it to enter this level here, skipping the whole obelisk

  • Well, they can't push you through any desired wall, but through most doors and similar "barriers". (I'm not quite sure, but I guess they have to be movable/interactive objects.)

  • Do you stay still or wiggle controls to end the brutality sooner? I've never allowed Lara to be attacked that way before, so I dont know.

  • If you'd press left and right, she would be released sooner but not thrown through the door. So it's neccessary to stay still and wait for the animation to end.
