Well I was happy to see a candidate like Obama from my warm seat here in Europe. Because he is young, intelligent, witty and likable. And has good policy. And I think he "reflects the times". I wouldn't cast doubt on the validity of your US elections though.. the last one was I think the much more legitimate and clear than the Bush Jr. ones.
I don't think McCain's problem was a "bad campaign". I think the problem was he really had no vision, no ideas. And Palin.
