To much of any fruit are bad for bunnies because the have trouble processing sugar but small amounts are fine but hey that's just according to vets. Bananas are not bad for bunnies. They are actually quite healthy. My rabbit is 6.5 years old and eats bananas daily. They say the rabbit's diet should be only about 10% fresh fruit and vegetables; but in all actuality most rabbits are a lot healthier eating fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. Bananas are high on carbs, but those are the good carbs. As long as the bunny is getting his exercise, he should be fine.
