@estinky Haha, so true! Everyone is in top form here. The final minute is particularly amazing, with Ted McKenna doing double-kick drums when almost nobody else was doing that at the time (keep in mind, this was pre-Metallica). This song - and the entire album really helped set the gold standard for 80's Metal!! \m/

why does the photo say 90's Metal? this is 1982-83... and Michael was tops. Always was in my opinion. didn't go for all the 80's BS.. so shallow and ridiculous compared to this. This is hard rock and metal at it's finest.. with the sweetest guitar on top of it all. no you can't touch this
@TheJimiV i think he meant 90metal not 90's metal lol, however I agree with you for the most part, unfortunately bands like poison and winger ruined the 80s, but there was so much more that was going on underneath all that crap, as far as michael yes he was and is the best, period.
love it. can't wait to see msg at High Voltage 2011. along with Judas Priest, Black Country Communion, Dream Theater, Jethro Tull and a bunch of others still uncomfirmed. :)
my top 3 metal albums in this era, in no particular order: Black Sabbath "Born Again," MSG "Assault Attack," and Yngwie's "Marching Out." And I still keep the dust off of these : )
I managed to find this on cd at last & the instruments all stand out and are clear and crisp . But that's the problem Michael's guitar isn't centre stage as on the original vinal record. Every thing else comes out you from the speakers. The record i have sound's much better , you can feel all the emotions in his notes & Grahams vocals. The songs take on a different meaning, his guitar & riffs are the driving force. I never though the record would have the better sound but it does.
i have always loved the michael schenker group. right along with the scorpions!!!

Some of my favorite Schenker guitar work is on this song

I agree, some of his best and among my all time favorites. It's sad how drugs and alcohol affected his talent.
