  • great video thanks it made my life a lot easier i want to ask if i can use a SDHC micro card or only an Micro SD

  • @mezele : Technically you can, but it will not work the way you want it to really. ~~Robert.

  • I use a Class 10 card and is better than class 4 definitely but I did not know the programming so this video helped a lot. Thank you very much

  • Hi ! Had anybody tried SDHC card in the camera ? What capacity ?

  • @luky118 : Yes, the SDHC is the card. Class 6 or Class 10. I would recommend at least 4gig. I use an 8gig and have plenty of recording time for multiple flights. ~~Robert.

  • @RCRedBaron Ok, thank you very much for quick answer :)

  • Fantastic video, I wish I new about it before I bought the wing cam from HK. It did make programing the thing a whole lot easier (like night and day). I am having difficulty directing live video to my fpv transmitter. I tried the tricks submitted by another client but it didn't work. It isn't the camera as we have tested three of them. I'd really appreciate any guidance you could provide.

  • thnx very useful info but u mentioned a class 10 micro sd card would that be better than a class 6 and how much was the camera and where did u get it plz peply back asap

  • @Lyc4n1121 : The unit is designed to work with Class 6. You can use a class 10, but you won't get better results. Class 10 is Better card, faster record speed, but camera only records at Class 6 speed.. You get from HobbyKing website, the price is somewhere are the $35 dollar area. Thanks! ~~Robert.

  • @smorgardsboard : Class 6 is the speed of card you need minimum to have quality video. Using a Class 10 is perfectly fine because they are correct, it is a better card. Its just that the WingCam will not take advantage of the extra speed in the Class 10. The Camera was designed for Class 6 or higher. Have fun with the Cam!! ~~Robert.

  • Great tutorial...thanks. Only thing missing is a Class 4 vs. Class 6 video smack down!

  • what is the best way to mount this on a baja buggy and to have little vibration, any help would be great, thanks!

  • @thephantomsguest : Look at using Thick Double Sided Foam Tape. On top of that, Velcro and Velcro on the cam. That should be a fairly simple setup reducing some of the vibs. You'd have to get really crazy and make an anti-vibration mount to get all of it gone. Thanks for great question. ~~Robert.

  • @RCRedBaron yea cheers Rob thanks

  • @RCRedBaron Hi Rob, ended up getting 3m tough tape and mounted it on the roof of the body, not too bad, you can see my vid on my channel, cheers for the help mate

  • hey everyone use a class 10 samsung micro sd card for jitter free video the price is about £10

  • @mtwargo : Much Appreciated Mike! Thanks for checking out the video and commenting as well! See you soon! ~~Robert.

  • 3:30 is where you get the question answered about the date stamp...

  • I just have a class 4 sd card.. will it work or do I have to buy a new class 6?

  • @theworldowner111 : Class 4 will work. You will notice slight skipping of frames and even sound out of sync the more noise there is. But it will work. ~~Robert.

  • @theworldowner111 mine works with a class 2

  • You helped me out allot!

  • ok, looked the vid again in 720p, and @ 13:33 i can clearly see the HC on the card hahaha, thanks for this super video!

  • hi, i have bought the camera, but now i`m looking for a class 6 card, but i am also coming across the SDHC (High Capacity) card instead of the normal SD card, but the device has to be capable for a SDHC card. my question: do you know if the camera is capable/ accepts the SDHC card? because i could not see it when you showed the card in the video. Thanks, Marco

  • Hi, fantastic video, but how do you burn DVDs?, I recorded the DVD, but when I put it on home player, I put "unknown album", even changing the format, to MP4 or DIVX. THANKS

  • plzzzzz help me red light has dimmed and i just dons not turn on plzz help

  • Dood, Thanks for that vid.. Nice job.. Someone asked about the charging via USB and you answered his and my question at the same time.. I thought i may have burned out my red LED next to the USB port.. I did not know that it will go dim once the battery is fully charged.. Thanks again..

  • can you please explain how the motion detection on this camera works . I will be using it to capture the movement of squirrels in my garden. In the motion detection mode (10 seconds capture) how long will be the battery back up time with a fully charged camera and using a 8gb card. will it be more than 3 hours because it is in motion detection mode. please reply.

  • @pensfaninstockholm : I take it you had a bad experience? But, the camera really does film in 1280x720 at 30fps. Check out the video after this in my list of the Trex550. We put a couple of these on the helicopter and filmed. Turned out awesome. ~~Robert.

  • @pensfaninstockholm : Appreciate that. ~~_Robert

  • Great informative vid-- thanks for posting! I had my HD wing cam could not find any info on functions til your vid...

  • Excellent Job!!

  • Could anyone tell me where I can find the correct setting to use it as a video Cam for FPV . I set it to video actuated by movement , and the AV cable , but 1) I can't have sound . 2) It goes off after few mn . The image is wonderfull , but I can't get long rushes .I know there is a way to get it ok .

  • One more question. This cam captures video in 720p. However, the supplied A/V cable only delivers composite video. How exactly can I get the beautiful 720p images onto my 60" Sony? :-)

  • @eciracing : Since I havent played back video directly from camera to TV, I will have to investigate the setup menu to see if it has that option. Whenever I take vids, I always process through my computer anyway. I burn DVD's and they come out 1280x720i with great vivid colors and quality. If there is a way to change TV display directly from Cam, I will udpate here!

  • Quick question for you. I just received my HD Wingcam. How do I charge this thing? I'm assuming that when I plug it into a USB port, it's charging? When I do that, I get a solid blue light....is that what I'm looking for? Sorry for all the questions. :-)

  • @eciracing : Yes, charging is done through the USB port. The blue light will shine! If you look though, by the usb port plug, there is a red led. When charging, this light shines brightly. when fully charged, it will be dim. Thanks for the great question! ~~Robert.

  • @RCRedBaron

Worked like a charm. :-) Thanks for the insight.

  • hey red love your channel I'm learning allot .thanks for your time

  • nice and cheaper item. liked it

  • Hey Robert, love your RC videos. What happened to your garage? Did a hobby store explode in there?

  • @MrF1fanatic : Thanks man!!! Oh the garage.... It's called having a hoarder issue with Airplanes! Even though I sell a few here and there, they just keep multiplying! LOL.... Thanks for watching and commenting man! Awesome. ~~Robert.

  • Hi robert, thanks 4 sharing, regards ray

  • @DCRlive : Thanks for stopping by Ray! Appreciate it!! ~~Robert.

  • Thats awesome I'm looking for a cam to record some flying. This one just topped the list. Its very inexpensive too.

  • @tenrazo215 : Appreciate that man! Glad to help out! ~~Robert.

  • Thanks for the info... Just ordered one.... Would a class 10 card be better than the 6 or should I just buy the 6 class ?? Thanks for your time.

  • @yankphan100 : Class 6 is all you need. I didnt notice much difference between class 6 vs 10. Seems the camera write speed matches nicely to a class 6. Spend the extra money on more memory in the card. 8 to 16 gig should be more than enough for all kinds of recording.

  • Great video! Just ordered my HK camera. Thanks sooooo much!

  • @eciracing : Awesome man! You'll love the camera! I have 3 of them. Each one works great! Glad the info was helpful in your decision! ~~Robert

  • Great video! Thanks! I will now purchase one or two of these cameras because of you. HK should be greatful. By the way, when was the last time you saw your garage wall?

    Thanks again for the info.

  • @griffmustard : Thanks for the great comment! If you do get one or more, you'll love them. Super light, super quality and the color is very vivid! As for the garage wall, That went out the window once I started this great hobby! LOL! Thanks man! ~~Robert.

  • AWesome Robert!!!!! Unbelievably informative... Who needs a manual.?

  • @mtwargo : Thanks for watching and commenting Mike!! Appreciate it!! ~~Robert.
