  • Very cool.

AK, doing his signature tune, backed up by the band that (at least in name) did more, directly or indirectly, to (re-)introduce his music to America than anyone.

John Mayall: The Miles Davis of Rock.

Mick Taylor: The third member of one of Rock's Two Great Guitar Triumvirates.

(Major Clue, if necessary: Eric Clapton is the only member of BOTH of those.)

  • CAPITOL THEATER WAS THE first concert I ever went to ! i think it was about 1976? I saw mountain. was awesome those were the days"...the sound quality was great in that place

    passaic nj !

  • Albert King what a BEAST

  • CAN YOU BUY THIS ON DVD?

  • @ttesoro -it is on DVD. John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers - Jammin' with the Blues Greats.

  • semplice ed efficace!

  • @almeanna -esatto...proprio come maestri

  • Blues'n'Roll !!

  • He gives me the same thrill everytime !! One of my best concert memory is to have had the chance to see Albert King ALIVE… THE king of blues.

  • Dpnt forget St Louis one and only Frank Dunbar on bass

  • collin allen(drums) looks close to mick jagger...... LOOK!!!!! haha

  • Allmighty God!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the blues! They have the blues! They love the blues! THEY'RE BORN UNDER A BAD SIGN!!!!!!!

  • good find.

  • I'm not a huge blues guy anymore, but holy crap, this is awesome.

  • @RemoteAbductionArm you don't have to be a blues man to love this stuff, but if like me, this is heaven on earth listening to some of the best music ever put on this planet

  • Luke Skywalker on drums! Lmao! Someone asked what the bass player is doing. Best I can figure is "it". What ever "it" is. Which is more than I can say for the rest o' the guys!

  • Presenting Albert King on Lead Guitar, John Mayall on Blues Harp, Mick Taylor on Rhythm, Lead and Slide Guitar, and Luke Skywalker on Drums!

  • John Mayall and Mick Taylor are stoned out of there minds. I am willing to bet on it.

  • mick looks sick and so pissed off he's about to stab someone but he still manages to keep up with Albert king THAT is the definition of a master.

  • WTF is the bassist doing?

  • @brianpage100 grooving like mad.

  • haha the Bassist is really into it

  • awsome shit wooowh beutyfull

  • Merci pour cette excellente version !! Que des musiciens exceptionnels !

  • MIck Taylor, one of the greatest guitarists of all times!!!! His guitar playing in The Rolling Stones is their best musical period ever!!!!

  • MIck Taylor, one of the greatest guitarists of all times!!!! His guitar playing in The Rolling Stones is their best musical period ever!!!!

  • this is great! the bass player needs to lay the fuck back, though...

  • @MrSixstringjohnny What are you talking about ? He guy is playing one line ! If got any more laid back he would be in a recliner.

  • @MrSixstringjohnny ....Don't understand how you can possibly think that :/ if he laid back anymore than how he was, you wouldn't be able to hear it. The bass sounds perfect.

  • @Rcuthbert24 Haha, yes. I'm taking about stage presense,

  • @MrSixstringjohnny or did you mean the way he was boppin' around on stage like he was on six hits of snuff? :P

  • @MrSixstringjohnny Please he's the only guy driving the groove so the soloists can play out front. The drummer's not doing a damn thing and Mick isn't playing rhythm at all. If it wasn't for the bass player this would have turned into soup

  • @Odin029Haha, yes. I'm taking about stage presense, again. you can groove without looking like a jackass

  • love how most everybody has a '59 SLP haha its it wasnt like 3k id have one too :(

  • Albert rules!

  • Far too good.

  • I was lucky enough to see this concert. thanks for posting this vid. Abert rules and Mick Tavlor is vastly underrated.

  • the only "king" afaic! you can tell he really loves mick here because he keeps trying to prod him into playing. & mick doesn't disappoint. he's SO high, though; poor guy. he let the stones rob him of so much. the only GOOD guitar player they ever had...

  • badmuddy:

I agree with you. Mick Taylor's playing suited Albert more than anyone else. Taylor has that special feel & tone that is so rare among hundreds.

  • @badmuddy indeed Jagger had style mick had feel and feek is so much more important.

  • Thanks! I've been looking for this version for a while

  • great video! thx.

  • Albert King and the Blues Breakers....You can't ask for a better combo than that!
