Niiiice looking Airwolf!! Can you tell me what the brand name of that fuselage is please, and who sells it? Also, where'd you get the retracts from, or was it all a kit?
how did u do it?? or did u get it and if u did tell me where!!! pls those are sooooo coool i havea bladecx2 and my skie landing gear keeps on getting wreaked!! answer pleeeeeeaaaassseeee!
pretty cool, but I would decide not to because the cool looks don't quite make up for the extra weight, making battery heat higher and run time shorter. It's cool that you dud that thought.
the helicopter is a blade CX2 made by eflight, that is not the stock body though. the black one is after market. it runs about $189.99 US plus shipping, or check a local store.
Just get some tailwheels from the LHS, a 6 Gram servo and some ingenuity. It's homemade.
Would be cool to taxi; but weight's an issue; may need to step up the battery for an aftermarket 2 cell 18c or plus. The stock batteries are okay at best for stock setup, but when You start adding goodies, gotta move up unless You want 4 minutes or less flight time at full throttle.
Thanks. I've been doing some checking and there are some articles online of how to do the retracts. I just have to go one step at a time. Thankfully my LHS has most of what I need in terms of LiPos and other stuff. Eitherway, I am getting a CX2 after Christmas, especially now that Eflite is doing Jet Ranger bodies for it!
Both the fuselage and the gear I made myself. I do sell the bodies as kits and I'm thinking of also kitting the gear. I have more pictures and comments on rcgroups under multirotor helis (Airwolf with retracts)
