Except the premise of Mr. Bugliosi's accusation, that the president said in his Cincinnati speech that Iraq posed an imminent threat to the US is simply not true. The president said the threat from Iraq was serious and would grow worse with time. He never claimed that the threat was imminent. In fact in his State of the Union Address he said the exact opposite.
