I always enjoyed this movie. But when I actually watched it this past year, I was horrified. I mean--sure, it's about love. She does marry the right guy. But seriously, consider how small of a brain she really does have. She gets manipulated by almost every animal/insect that talks or sings to her.

I think the lyrics are clever and funny! People think it's sending a bad message to kids but COME ON. Kids are nowhere near stupid enough to look to Ms. Fieldmouse for life lessons! She's kind of a jerk x)

Every time she started to dance along with them she ended up being turned into something she wasn't and either became rejected or miserable.
