Korto is probably my favorite Project Runway designer- along with Leanne.

I love her collection so much XDD I don't usually like green, but Korto picked beautiful shades of green for some of her dresses.

Why are white people so ignorant! I could have done without the mindless commentary ..." she's inspired by her homeland of Africa..." . What the hell is that supposed to tell me when Africa has over a billion people and thousands of very different traditions. Korto is from Liberia which very SPECIFICALLY informs her design choices. There is a reason why the acclaimed East African bridal designer Amsale has a completely different design aesthetic from West African Korto.  Get a clue!

I agree that there was a mistake about generalizing, BUT I'm afraid you just made the same mistake by saying: "White people are so ignorant!", I think it's offensive to say that everybody with light skin tone is ignorant just because someone with those features said something you find wrong.

And this is coming from someone who even though is white, has a thick black ancestry background, so I'm on both sides, so don't take it to race matter, because U'll hurt sensibilities like now...

No way! I'm glad Korto at least won the fan-favorite....she deserved to win something in this show, she fought long and hard...and has wonderful talent. And if I might add...her daughter, is freaking adorable!

But it is white ppl who created the concept of race and it is they who benefit from and perpetuate ignorance. As for her calling Africa a homeland- those divisions between countries are mainly imaginary European constructs, and not anything that is geographical, sociological, or in any way real about Africa. Historically Americans refer to Africa as a homeland because so many of us can not trace from where in Africa we originated. We all did originate there too whatever our color.

I'm American just as I stated. My mother was born under British rule in Gambia (Mandinka/Briton.) My father was Scots Irish and Cherokee. I was born in England but came to the US after my mother died in 1991. Many here can not trace African ancestry to one people. There is no harm embracing all Africa as an ancestral home.

Anyway, Korto's collection was a little boring. I wasn't blown away by any of the collections. It pains me, but I think Kanley's was te most interesting. Leann's wasn't good IMO.

Korto's was really nice. I like the color choices. I especially love the shimmery, bronzey-brown fabric that she used for the coat. And those pants and the all white outfit. She's amazing at fitting things and creating things that look clean and...expensive!

My only draw back is that she included my most hated ANTM "model" ever--BIANCA! Ew, Korto, no! At least she got the crotch dress.

Everyone else looked (and walked) fantastically. And her Jaslene-like model is MILES ahead of Jaslene.

She is not jaslene they are really similar but she is not jaslen. (i think you mean the model with the long green dress) But theres is Danielle one of the ANTM winners. also AMANDA FIELDS from PR, also the other model with a short green dress is from ANTM.

Good design and good use of fabrics. The collection is truly Korto, savvy and elegant. But my problem again is the with the lack of interesting patterns. Like Kenley's this is a signature collection without anything ground breaking from the series. The cuts are similar to Chloe Dao but Chloe's cuts are unmatched. I do not think she will win either.
