Skates gameplay is better than the Hawk games but Hawks career mode and features are far better than skate, just depends what you want in a game if you want a good story line Hawk is better but if you want the game to last longer and have fun skate is better

i think the first things i would do are

get rid of the balnce meter and test the boundary lines in two player.

There should have been a choice of either classic, as the THAW balance meter or the

new one.
