  • Im lucky, as i live in england and im in full time education i don't have to pay or my roaccutane :) I have so much respect for you after watching this video. I really hope my skin gets as clear as yours in time xxxxx

  • dosent it cause more pimples becos the macro cream has oil in it?! :O

  • in germany you dont have to pay for accutane

  • so ur healthy skin diet ended up not working????

  • omg ur skin cleared up a lot.u have nothing u look beautiful.ur scaring isnt even bad its alittle red bt that can go away with a tan girly u look amazing.your very brave.i dont really have bad acne i get a pimple here now and then especially on my period nd ihave a few scars from when i had some acne which was like a sudden breakout that went away in like 2 months bt i was very depressed nd was very down on myself bt u look great congrats

  • Amy, I was wondering if you could do another skin vlog. These vlogs have been very helpful for me your acne was very similar to mine is now. I'm considering accutane but need to do more research...thanks so much. You're beautiful. -Emily

  • wow, your skin looks great! I feel kinda bad when looking at your pictures when you have these huge breakouts, I complain and whine whenever I have acne, but I have never gotten as bad acne as yours, I get like 2-5 big pimples which stays on my face for a month, then they all disappear for a week and comes back again (how many pimples I get vary though). And I do treat my acne, I wash my face twice a day (been doing that for 3-4 years now). :) but I wish that those 2-5 pimples would disappear xD

  • at 6:48 you said you would tell us how much it cost, and then you got veered off topic and didnt! I was wondering this too, please get back too me lol, good for you for making these vids, and I know how painful it is, Ive sufered from it for 2 years now. (: <3 you're beautiful .

  • @amysass7 hi Amy yey u replied well this is the beginning of my second week on accutane im kind of starting to break out now a lil more i hope it doesn't get too bad.one thing I noticed this week is back painit hurts a lot but ill try to keep up with it.

  • Just wanted to let you know that I'm sad I never received a reply from you..... Anyways I'm on accutane now this is my 7th day I was so inspired by you. But ur too famous nowand maybe ur not interested in returning my comment i left you a month ago.

  • @BlueButterfly1104 oh I am so sorry, I try to get back to as many comments as possible, but here and there I miss them - apologies. Hope roaccutane goes well for you, wishing you all the best. <3

  • Hi Amy I'm very sad I left u comments in this vid a month ago a u never repliedi guess ur too popular

  • I remember watching your old skin vlogs and when I compare it to your recent ones (this one) you definitely look happier now. I use to think you were gorgeous, now I can't even find the word to describe how much more you are now thanks to high self esteem, your confidence makes your beauty glow even more. <3 Keep it up Amy<3 We all love your videos!

  • @watermelonlara ah thankyou :D you are such a sweetie - this made my day <3 p.s I consider myself very lucky to have such lovely and supportive viewers so thank-you!

  • I know you said you've tried everything but, i just said i'd have an input. You should definitely get allergy tested with a kinesiologist because that can have a really terrible effect on your skin. Your skin is brilliant at the moment but, i'd be worried about the long term effects of that drug. Congrats :)

  • i just found your channel. I absolutely admire the guts you have to show the whole world your acne! comparing this video to your earlier ones, your skin has greatly improved and i am genuinely happy for you! I'm battling with my own acne problems and watching videos like yours is extremely comforting and inspiring.

    :D

  • YOU ARE THE PRETTIEST THING EVER!

    and your eyes are beautiful!(:

  • I cant believe you friended me you are like the prettiest girl ever im soo happy!!!

  • Hi Amy sorry if my previous comment has a lot of spelling errors I was typing so fast in my phone and didn't take the time to check before sending it lol. Anyways just wanted to congratulate you on your new skin it looks amazing you are such a beautiful person. I can't wait to start my accutane treatment in march I'm so ready. Hope to get a reply from you........take care god bless

  • Hi Amy I been watching your videos for like over a month now. I'm 26 years old and have suffer from acne since age 12. One day browsing on YouTube and acne related videos o got across you, and listening to you talking about how much you struggle with your acne and your daily routine to cover it up was like seen myself. Actually because of seen you I decided to go see a dermatologist and talk about my acne.I suffer from cystic modular acne too I don't get them all over the face but I get like 3

  • Your skin looks great:) you've come so far!I'm in my first month of accutane and it's a little scary but it's going really well..keep up te videos!

  • @thedeliria Roaccutane is definitely not for everyone, as it effects everyone differently. That being said I am really grateful that I haven't experienced any major side effects and consider myself very lucky. If I could find a more natural alternative I would absolutely go down that path, but I have experimented with just about everything and after suffering from acne for a good 6 years, it got the point it was effecting my self esteem & it was a last resort. Thank you for your feedback though.

  • Today I am starting with the Roaccutan, and I am kind of nervous. You are my role model, just to see how beautiful your skin has gotten is a reason to take the medicine. I hope my skin gets as beautiful as yours. You are a very pretty girl and I love the red hair.

  • Eye make-up tutorial please :D

  • how much is Roaccutane? do you need to have a needle every month?

  • I love your skin!! I'm sure it was a long road to get there, I've been struggling with acne for a lonnnnnnnng time. They won't prescribe accutane in the US anymore, so I guess I'll never know if it would have worked for me. Good luck and let me know if you can suggest any other medicines/ treatments that worked for you!

  • haha i love you. and i love how positive u are! :)

  • you seem so much happier :)

  • Hi Amy

Thank you for my ingot foundation sample, I will be sure to come back in store and purchase when you get No38 back in!

  • your skin has cleared up amazingly:) love the eye makeup btw!

  • Amy wow your skin is looking so much better! Congratulations on your efforts. Well done. xoxo

  • You're so brave Amy - and your skin is looking fantastic, even without make-up. Good on you working so hard to improve it! <3

  • Hope that you and your family are safe and well and that the flood hasn't affected you. xx

  • Hi gorgeous Im a new subcriber From sydney australia Just love your vids Can i please have your advice on a bronzer Its called natural glamour Its a new zealand born product and is supposed to be australias no 1 bronzer Have you used it and what r your thought i appreciate your advice thanks so much xxx

  • @ShellyLovesMakeup1 can't say I've tried it sorry. If you do though, let me know what you think of it :)

  • Wow! Can't believe that rain!!! I really hope you're still safe with all the flooding issues. You are always so beautiful, with or without makeup, my dear! I think it's very encouraging to see you bare it all! ;) It's funny..before I even watched this I posted a picture of how bad my acne was a couple years ago on my Tumblr last night, when I had an IUD for birth control, and it looked a lot like yours did. But now my skin is almost perfect ever since I switched to the pill. xoxo

  • GUESS WHAT!? im comletely in love with your top, and your skin is flawless !

  • I'm happy that Accutane worked for you. It did for me too, but I had severe dry eyes as a side effect. I guess side effects were what got it pulled off the US market. I'm lucky that I didn't have to pay for it (Canadian healthcare system, lol) but you had a good point in putting a price on clear skin

  • why dont use use the sheseido white lucent line for scarring really good.. can u please do a tutorial on this look thank you so much

  • you are such a beautiful and sweet person:)

  • aaahh thanks so much for making this :) I got rid of my acne, but it came back..and today I was feeling crap about it..but this video is really encouraging :) you seem genuinely lovely and it's great to see you feeling good about your skin :) thanks <3

  • I would love to clear up my acne, but I'm afraid of the side affects of acne drugs. But after seeing how good your skin is turning out, I'm leaning closer to taking a trip to a dermatologist and seeing what might happen.

  • id love to try accutane. im not so scared about the side effects as much as that it would come back right after id finish using.

but im very happy it worked for you. youre lovely and deserve to feel beautiful. i know how acne can make people feel so down at times. thanks for doing this

  • Your skin looks amazing!!! I'm so happy for you! and yes the weather we've been having has been insane. I really feel for all the people who have lost their homes in the flooding.

  • @stardustlace yes, me too - we don't have it to bad here thankfully but it's still hectic. <3

  • You look terrific. Your skin has really benefitted from the medicine. You were the very first one who sent me a friend invite when I joined YT. You have a special place in my heart and thoughts. Since I don't make videos that meant so much to me. You are def an amazing person who has taken a problem and made it a challenge and turned it into a positive. I'm so happy for you. Stay well. Hugs!! Have you been near the flooding in Australia? So sorry - it has been terrible.

  • @grnmtgrl thankyou lovely! I do recognise your user name :) I'm not at central to the floods, but it's coming closer and closer to home, little scary, but I have it pretty good compared to other suburbs - but thank-you for your concern.

  • love your tshirt!!

  • wow you look amazing!

  • you are amazing and absolutely stunning. so inspirational. x

  • u look great

  • Could u tell just what dose are u taking, how many mg?....

  • @blueberry0816 yeah sure, I'm on the 20mg, and I take 2 pills a day with a meal.

  • @amysass7 ...thank u for taking the time and answering!.....wish u all the best!.....very smart and nice person u are:))

  • Great video! Your so brave to do it!

  • did you have braces on your top teeth? haha random question I know but curious :)

  • @fallenangel7431 Nope, been pretty lucky not to have to go through braces. Everyone in my family has really similiar teeth which i think is kinda funny, but good I guess. :)

  • hehe love the t-shirt!

  • I really appreciate you showing us your skin without makeup because I have almost the exact same scarring.

  • Are you still on the healthy skin diet?

  • @surgedeb Not currently, I do use a lot of the recipes from the book, but I don't religiously stick to it. :)

  • C is for cookie. That's good enough for me; oh cookie cookie cookie start with C. lol I love cookie monster. Your skin looks great!

  • Thank you for being so helpful! I've been struggling with acne since I was 13 (I'm almost 20), and I'm officially ready to try Accutane. Anyway, I have a question that I hope you can answer. :) After you met with your derm, how long was it before you actually started taking the pills? I know you have to go through the process of blood work & birth control, but does that part take long? I heard one gal say she didn't start taking the pills until 4 months after her first appt. Ahhh!

  • @ColorHerWorld When I went, she assessed my skin, talked about my skin history, previous attempts at clearing and then basically said get a blood or urine test and once that is cleared, she sent me a script for the medication. Which I couldn't go on straight away due to my monthly's - you have to wait till you are on your first day I think of your period. So I had to wait a month before I starting taking it.

  • vitamin E is the key to getting rid of acne scars <3

  • what if one has very pimply prism skin, is it ok to go out in public at night?

  • @PiCKLESiNmYbUTT I can't see why not, sure :)

  • Your skin has improved a lot! Girl you look so much prettier! =D

  • Wow, your skin is looking so good! Scarring is a problem for me too :/

  • my acne came back after about 10months I was done with 1year medication with roaccutane. now I'm trying out benzoyl peroxide and it works for me. i had worse acne than you, i literally had it all over my face.. and i went for laser treatment as well, my scars got 5-10% better. it wasnt worth all the money i spent. i worked through my last few teenage years to get a clear skin and nothing worked. but now benzoyl peroxide is working for me :)

i hope it works for you!! good luck!

  • @o0mew0o aww that's sucks to hear, your acne came back :( Hope that works for you and your skin gets better <3

  • @amysass7 thanks hun! it's getting better and i heard lemon is good for scars so I use lemon and sugar to scrub my face every other day. I dont recommend it for you since you are on medication now and it will definitely irritate your skin. When you are done with it you should try it too :)

  • @123akify You can't buy isotretinoin over the counter. It should be by prescription only and it requires blood tests and pregnancy tests to be able to get it. I highly doubt you are going to find it anywhere, except for a pharmacy. If you do find it, then its most likely being sold illegally, so I'd beware of that. You simply don't know what is actually in those pills, so I wouldn't recommend buying them.

Amy, I am a new follower and I love your videos! I am so impressed with how much your s

  • how did you do your eye makeup!!!

  • @cherrypn2 I think I'll do a tutorial on this :)

  • you are always beautiful to me babe no matter your skin :) <3 but i must say it looks amazing! your scaring is soooo much better than mine and i've had microdermabrasion to reduce it lol congrats! i know how much you've hated your skin xoxo

  • i think maybe the ingredients in your makeup made your break out...

  • @designlover88 I had acne before I started wearing makeup when I was 13/14. I wish I could say it was that, * makeup* but it's a lot more internal than that I think.

  • Cookie! Nom nom nom. Sorry, great vid too! And I don't know if this has already been mentioned but I think you can get Roaccutane on the NHS (UK) if your acne is serious enough.

  • Cookie! Nom nom nom. Sorry, great vid too!

  • cookie monster shirt? get a veronica vaughn shirt already!

  • your skin looks AMAZING. I am so happy you found something that works for you :) Have a great day!

  • I know you're in another country, but i believe that they just pulled acutane from the shelves in the US because it can cause lots of different internal issues (Chron's disease, etc). just wanted to let you know if you didn't already

  • @concordCANARIES

Thanks for letting us know! im not from the US so i shall look for "acutane" in products i buy. Is there a scientific word for this chemical we should look for?

I think its super important to know what your putting on your skin-it can be so dangerous if you dont.

    x

  • @123akify probably a good idea to talk to a doctor or a dermatologist about this, to be sure and to be safe. :)

  • @concordCANARIES Yeah I know of some of the side effects, I think it effects everyone differently. Thank-you for your concern though. :)

  • Amazing Amazing Amazing!

These skin volgs make me so happy.

You're the reason I went to the doctors to ask for Roaccutane.

He's put me on anti-biotics and booked me an appointment with the dermotolagist in march. YAY :)

Your skin looks absolutely bautiful without makeup. I hope mine will look like that on day too!

  • you are my rolemodel (:

    you're so amazing

    x

  • @livesurfsmilexo wow.. thankyou :)

  • woooww ur skin has improved SO MUCH! i would use accutane but i heard some bad stuff about it and i dont want to take the chance D:

    +awesome shirt lol

    xoxo

  • are the scars more raised/bumpy or darkish? :s

  • @mickymayagusta purple/reddish not raised just uneven skin tone and patches of redness.

  • You're beautiful and thank you so much for your encouraging words. Makes me feel confident just watching your videos. You're amazing!

  • @princessxglenda THANKYOU <3

  • Amy you look beautiful and your skin has gotten so good!

  • Wow, this is very encouraging. Your skin looks beautiful. -3

  • Huge huge improvement Amy! Hope your skin gets soon to the level you want it too!!! :)))

  • oh my gosh, I love your eyes and the colour of your hair. Just thought that I would mention that :) I love you videos and am a new subscriber, I am very impressed so far :)

  • i have recently found something that helps my acne after about 4 years of suffering from it. your advice has made me feel really positive and although i have scarring, i feel more confident and happy about myself as a person :)

  • @catherine1495 woohoo. glad I can help :)

  • I think it is very important to go and see a dermatologist, especially if you are younger. When I was in high school, I struggled with acne and my mother, who never had a pimple, couldn't help me. I consulted a dermatologist early on and it has set on the road to be more conscientious about skin care in general like wearing sunscreen.

  • i love all your advice on acne!

i used to have really bad acne (but not as bad as yours was) , it really got me down but it's starting to clear up now. i only get the odd couple of spots now and am waiting for the scars to go now :)

i know what you mean about the character, i focused on my eyes and style (also being sarcastic and quick witted) because i couldn't have PERFECT skin.

good show with your skin though! look FANATASTIC =D

  • You skin does not define you! So true and thank you for being candid about this.

  • In America, the name "Accutane" no longer exists (the company that originally had the trademark went under) and now it goes by it's generic isotretinoin. It is extremely controlled here and you have to have a meet with your dermatologist every month for blood work and then have it re-prescribed. Then you have to have your original prescription and your id to pick it up.

Love your videos Amy! Though I'd help anyone over here looking at it!

  • @uwantcookie thankyou for that - that's probably helpful to a lot of people. :D

  • I understand exactly what you're saying about acne being character-building. When my skin wad really bad and I didn't think I wad pretty, I put a lot of effort into being funny and basically just a nice person so people would still want to be friends with me, haha. It made me who I am today.

Your progress is AMAZING! It was pretty bad and now there's barely any left! It must feel great :)

  • To everyone dealing with bad skin: go see a dermatologist! it's the only ting that works. after i saw one i noticed a difference in two days!

  • i lovee you!! such and inspiration!!

  • Please do a tutorial on this look!

  • Your skin looks fantastic -- even without makeup!!!!

You look amazing, and you are very wise beyond your years.

I love your hair and makeup, too!!!!!!

  • you're fantastic Amy.

And your videos really do help & encourage. Thank you!

  • from the keynote in the subscription box i thought your shirt had kiropi on it! :D

  • your eye makeup is stunning! :)

  • I've gotten use to your hair and i really love it now! :)

  • my husband used acutane in high school. He said it helped but it got worse before it got better. lol I saw old pics of him.

  • @leoisillon06 yes that happens because its dragging all the impurities and junk out of the skin :)) it sucks

  • I like the little intro in the beginning and can you do a makeup tutorial on this look :D
