  • Her book doubles as a comedy AND a horror.

  • @clarkshapedbox I'm not surprised. I might have to opt again to not read her new book as well.

  • Some of us tend to take the route of Alice Cooper and keep politics out of the music and visa versa. A good long-term memory and attention to details it seems were sacrificed by a large portion of the 60s generation...Se la vie! I celebrate your right to think the way you do or perhaps to not really think much at all...good luck with that...

  • I minored in philosophy, and now, of course, I am retired. So it's true enough, I find the skewed utterances of Mrs. Palin daunting enough at any time.

  • I'm sorry...but I have to laugh at the kind of people who fear freedom, independence, and even just the words of someone like Palin... while embracing Government control and the words and policies of people like Mao, Stalin, Castro, and Guavara. Somewhere along the way some of the survivors of the 60s movement went terribly off track...Duh!

  • Daunting was really the wrong word, I guess. But then I need a combination word for laughable, irritating and maybe deliberately dishonest at the same time, and I don't quite know which word will do. Anyway, apart from your clever comments, which I quite like, I find her and the r.r. easy to ignore. Most of the time, to quote Bob Dylan. The sixties movement, as you call it, even then had lots of different eddies in the space-time continuum, to misuse another sixty-ish author's cleverness.

  • Palin may not be Presidential material (and I doubt she will even run), but it is her provable honesty and track record that make her resonate with so many... including us non-r.r types. If Pelosi were even half the human being, or showed a fraction of the personal integrity, she may actually be able to give her book away... perhaps at insomnia clinics... what a stinky pile of PELOSI SHE is... we can at least thank her for adding a new word to the national vocab...

  • @PecosMtJeff I'm not sure if it is because she through Africa was a country, or whether it's because she doesn't know who Hamas are, it could even be that she used doners money to buy each individual a "free" copy of her book to thank them for their donations (which she consequently made tens of thousands from), but I just don't like Sarah Palin. What scares me is that there are people who have the audacity to stick up for her.

  • @ransomdave I've noticed that Progressives feel they have some right to silence all who disagree with them. One Moron even tracked my email address through multiple forwards just to tell me not to forward any more messages (even though I used BCC and he didn't, and I had never sent him anything in the first place). On the flip side, The more we allow Progressives to speak and be heard, the more people realize just how clueless they really are... I love it when they let Pelosi the REtard talk!

  • @PecosMtJeff Have you also noticed that conservatives have the loudest mouths of all? Just out of interest, what has Pelosi done to annoy you specifically?

  • It is my opinion that YouTube needs a revamp - I needed 15 stars for this one. ;)

The book is scary as hell in that people will actually believe it & not recognize it for the fiction it is - but the comments here like those from tommyboy1964xxx are scarier yet. I have never been more aware of how easy it is to manipulate & scare Americans before, as I have in the 8 years of the Bush administration.

Not to mention how racism thrives & grows...

  • Thanks for your comments. And for your comments on the comments. My children asked me if I had gotten any nasty Grand Rapids responses. The answer is no, not yet. Might it be that some readers, after buying the book, realize that they've been had? It's my perhaps forlorn hope that this is the case.

  • I would love to think that's the case, but I fear if they haven't 'got it' after all this time, nothin's gonna give it to them. They are so taken with McCain's answer to Hillary that I can't see any real changes in their future. Unless of course she actually learns the names of all 50 state capital cities, dazzling everyone & gets elected in 2012...omg! Did I say that out loud? ;)

  • I bet you wake up every morning with a great mood !! I loved it !

  • A pleasant comment like this one helps a lot. Reading it the day before Thanksgiving Day holiday lifts the mood even more. Thanks.

  • You ingnorant communist. It's worthless hippy ideas that are causing the decline of our county. You look like an old one. Where is the song for the spend crazy negro that is in office that is mortgaging our childrens future?

  • This sort of tasteless and thoughtless anger and frustration obviously needs an outlet, so I guess Sarah Palin has a functional role to play for you. Cheer her on! But I still choose not to read her book...and, yes, I am an old one, are you a young one? The name-calling approach was a little less strident in my youth...or maybe my memory is also aging.

  • please know sarah is the best thing for america!!!!!!!!!

driving up tea bag sales as an approach to public policy is good.. and hating on barak obama is really clever too!!!

    may the lord bless you!

  • Love it Bill! The stick work is nice once again.....you make it look so FUN !

  • It is fun. Usually when I sit down in front of this computer to do other things, I still first set up the Stick in order to practice it between emails, etc. Thanks for the comment.

  • Yes, says it all, better song then she deserves though. I guess, It says more about your good nature then it does about her. : ^ ))

  • Thanks for your assessment of the song, and for being more than gracious to me.

  • Unsubscribed.

  • Of course, she has some avid readers. The name of the political game in the USA should be choice after careful consideration. I know I can't please all my Michigan friends. Sorry about that. but I'll stick to opposing Sarah P.

  • Thanks , Bill

  • wow. that's awesome old man :) you're a MASTER !

  • More the old man than the Master. But I did have a professor at the U. of M. who said to me: "Don't call me Doctor, I haven't a Ph.D. You can call me Master, since I do have an M.A." I guess I'm in that boat as well. Thanks for the encouragement.

  • Haha. That says it all.

  • Thanks. I think that perhaps laughter is the best way to react to the S P phenomenon.

  • Catchy.......Sums it up nicely.......I like it!

  • Thanks, friend.

  • simple, sweet, appropriate. i like it.

  • Thanks. I must admit I did read a one-page excerpt of the book in a review before deciding that would be all.
