  • At about 5:30 you say with a 0.35mm nozzle to use about 0.32mm carve width, or 80%. Should it be less than 80%, so <0.28mm and 0.32mm was not quite right? I ask because 0.28 was working out for me, I switched to 0.32mm and am having adhesion problems with a 0.35mm nozzle.

  • Very nice video. Thanks so much.

  • someone at the door @ 2.20 and you just carried on and ignored them, how rude!

  • Thanks for taking the time and effort to make such an excellent tutorial about Skeinforge! It certainly is one of the more complicated (and interesting) parts of open source 3D printing. I really appreciated it and learned stuff i did not know before.

  • A fan wired in parellel with your extruder motor blowing on the print

    Great video BTW.

  • You can do it either way, but if the hot end is not warmed up you might break it

  • Should the 100mm be measured with the hot end removed or installed and running hot?

  • I don't have a printer but have been a lurker and this is a GREAT and much needed video. Awesome job Spacexula.

  • This is the kind of stuff Makerbot should be doing all the time. Thanks so much for this explanation!!!
